That is outstanding work Brent! I wish I had the skills to be able to do that type of work. I'm a perfectionist so I'd probably have to double the amount of material you use and I still wouldn't have it looking anywhere near that nice. Kudos man!!!

Chase me if you will but if you catch me, you'll probably have to call me in sick tonight......and tomorrow night, and Sunday night......

Some people give me a hard time about wanting a diesel tractor..especially in colder temps. Hey man that is what spray ether is for. I thought it'd be fun to find an old broke down 3000 or 5000 and buy it cheap and tear it apart and try and rebuild it one piece at a time. I know my diesels pretty well but my tractor knowledge needs work, hopefully I'd figure it out as I went.

Add it to the list of things I'd like to hopefully do before I die.

Have a nice sleep.
I thought the FRx was installed already?

I forgot was I supposed to be looking into the wiring for your mirror? I remember looking into it before not to sure if I found what you were looking for.

You did mean WD-40 and not ether right??

Well wish me luck I just got a call and I have a job interview at 10 am. It is for a maintainence manager for a very large apartment complex. I met all of their qualifications except the college degree. They must be very intrested if they called me for the interview. This seems like a good job with a pretty good benefit package. It is for a working manager not sit behind a desk all day. Now what should I wear?

Ok I'll just call you Big J.

And that second comment, is that a warning, or a promise? You know I got a little excited over the "naked in the squad car" conversation.

We did the oil crossover, but not the fuel crossover. I still need to get some directions from Clay because I am a bit uneasy about splicing into my fuel system...oh so many things can go wrong. Speaking of the oil crossover, I think that's where my oil leak is at. I was told that those washers need to be crushed, but that I need to be careful at how tight I turn them.

I did mean ether, but only for the tractor, not my truck! My truck hasn't yet needed aerosol assistance!

And on the mirror, no, I am still looking for directions for that specific type of mirror. I couldn't get any of the sellers to email me back, I guess they aren't interested in me unless I buy something from them.

Good luck on the interview. Be yourself. Look nice but not too fancy.

I can't blame you for keeping it invisible at all then! Well folks, since Lisa insisted, I'm going to hit the sack now. Everybody have a great day today!

Send me the info on the mirror again please Lisa and I will see what I can do. I forgot where I left off last time with it.

The Frx is pretty straightforward. IIRC Keith posted a thread with some great pics of when they did his. You have to snug the HPX fitting tight enough so they don't leak but not to tight that you distort or cut the o-ring.

Ok I have jeans and a golf style polo shirt thingy and work boots. I am good to go I will talk to all of you later. Thanks Lisa!

well, i went in for 4 am, and fell asleep in the pickup waiting for something to do cause it was raining.
the job super came along and woke me up at 8:30, and asked me "what are you doing here" i told him you told me to come in, remember??
he said oh, yea. then he handed me my check, and told me to put in a ticket for 8 hours and go home.

Yeah I'll get that info off the mirror when I get home today.

I feel compelled to clean up my engine bay before installing the frx, if I had a leak I wouldn't know until I smelled it.

Golf style polo thingy sounds good, go get em and good luck!

If you know someone who can build a computer you can get the parts for a very good desktop for around 600, with a flat screen monitor too.
