Morning all. Raining here, that means long boring day inside. You guys should hear the thunder and see the lightning though, its AMAZING today! Ill try to take a video of it, post it, if that works.

Nice to see you post again Cris. I thought you had already been working too, Oh well, good luck at your new job and Im sure you will be getting hrs in no time.
I actually just started working at the restaurant I used to work at again. They needed help, I needed money and the schedule works perfect. 2 days a week and Im off on weekends

Just wanted pop in for a min even though I know y'all are sleeping.... I think I am the only weird one in this bunch who is a night owl. I suffer for it every morning when I get up with the girls but can't seem to change my sleep pattern for the life of me.
Alicia, I know we haven't been introduced yet but I hope you get the answers you need tomorrow for your son. I can't imagine what your going through. It is a horrible feeling when one of your babies is going through something that scares everyone. Please let us know how things go!
Well I start work on Tuesday... what a scary thought. Some almost 30 year old going back to work after being home for almost 7 years. I think I have forgot what it's like to take to people in person who aren't 6 and 10 yo little girls! LOL! Oh yeah my baby had a birthday on Labor Day. I officially have a daughter who is in double digits, talk about making you feel old.... Anyway back to work, I was supposed to do a 3 day training course that Great Clips puts you through before you can actually work for them but my manager didn't get the memo that they moved the date by 2 days.. I showed up and the class was on day 3 not day 1. I was a little pissed off. I talked to her and she is going to finally bring me in for some paperwork, learning the front computer and so I can show her what my skill level is. I only have 7 hours this week but it's better than nothing I guess!!! Someone needs to work here.... Chase has been out of work for 3 months and is sucking every damn penny I have so I'm happy to have the few hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, at least that will give him gas money for the following week! LOL!

We had major rain here a few days ago. Made the quiet little stream that's normally at 14" wide and maybe 1" or so deep grow to 5'+ wide and 16" deep. And of course, the pups had to go out.... hahaha. Like I care! Shorts, sandals, a quick-dry shirt & hat and off we went. Lelo wasn't digging the rain, that's for sure!

Hoping for rain this morning...
They had a flash flood of a small stream in Sedona last week, flooded some businesses and floated some cars around in a parking lot...lots of mud to clean up!

My buddy has a cabin about 4 hours from here. I always enjoy myself, but it sure ain't no "beer commercial". If only he would have gotten the cabin maybe 10 years earlier... But that's not the point. Drinkin, fishin, off roadin, and camp coffee. And the odd cigar. Maybe swimming if it's hot enough, but every time we've been, it's Labour Day weekend, and starting to cool off already.
Drinking coffee is a little hard to do now that I've quit smoking cigarettes. They go hand in hand. So now I just have one cup rather than 4 or 5 per day.
