Ok so basicly the platinum is still 200+lbs more. 200lbs is a bulk of weight to gain. That 200lb's if added to the payload would mean that it can use the max trailer tow features at 10% tongue weight.
Anyone any other ideas where the platinum gains 200lb extra weight. I cant thing of anything that would play a part that is that bulky in weight. Perhaps the taigate badge lol

Thats still 208lbs left. Do you have power seats?
You have to take into consideration as well the extra sound deadening material.

How did you get 60lbs for the 6.5 foot bed vs the 5.5 foot bed? That seems a little light to me when you take into consideration 1 foot more sheetmetal, 1 foot more frame rails, 1 foot more driveshaft, etc...

The build and price drops 60lb payload along all models when going from a 5.5 to a 6.5 bed.
Pick up 3 20lb bags of dust and you will see it's a pretty heavy amount. That would be quite a large amount of sheet metal.
You should put a full tank of fuel in Your truck and WEIGH IT! Plenty of Scales around these days. Prolly only cost ya 8-10 bux.
I wouldn't be surprised if Your close to 6500 lbs curb weight.
