Joe, and Jay, The 80's called...... Nevermind, Joe and I are the same age, and I got a kick out of the beastie boys, and the GNARLY comment.
White Lion- Wait, absolutley one of the best songs from the 80's. I am still over the eurythmics, listend to that song so much back in the 80's that now its like Kryptonite, I run screaming away from the audio device.

So, we're smart enough to use a timer to turn on our block heaters, but not the coffee pot? LOL

I am ready for spring. Besides I don't have a sled so the loss of snow dosen't bother me.

This has got me to wondering, and I've thought about it before: How feasible would it be to carry a fully charged battery and then connect it to your block heater? I realize we're talking 12v vs. 120v but it may be enough to help out in situations like this.

Good moanin' everyone!!! Anybody ever see or hear from Travis anymore?

I have switched over to tea as of the last week or two. Couple good headaches the first day or so then now I wake up feeling better and not needing it as much. Caffeine sure is addicting though... I had a buddy over yesterday and he brought me a red bull, after drinking it I couldnt stop my hands from shaking.... I think my body is already getting used to not having the caffeine.

That's the beauty of resistors, Brendan. They don't care if i you run AC or DC through them. HOWEVER, at only 12V, there won't be much current flowing through it, which means no (or very little) heat. If you had, say 10 batteries in series to make 120VDC, it would work nicely....

I talk to Travis every now and then on facebook. Hes busy with that damn ranger of his, the lucky SOB haha.

I never have drank coffee regularily. Im a water kinda guy, each time i have tried coffee i hated the way I felt after! I slept crappy, and felt all jittery.
