Brent, get well man. Brandon, well wishes to the wife. Cris, I tried phonezoo, its not supported by alltel. SOBs! I'm with Jim, on the whole running around the house thing! Ha'ha!
For once we actually have a fairly calm decent looking day. It doesnt appear to be windy, and its only minus 20, which for this time of the year, isnt bad.
I've been getting text messages about the free breakfast thing all morning. I'll stick to my oatmeal thanks!
Nice priorities Chris!
And Cris, I like your idea of a good Valentine's day. I'll get to do that with the pups!
Last night was super windy, but today was calm and will hit mid-50's. Tomorrow & Thursday will be in the 60's so the house will be wide open for the pups, with the windows open too to air out the house.
Oh, and here's a kick in the butt - remember I had that big rush of interviews about 2 months back? Well, nothing came of any of them really, but last night I get a call from one of the recruiters. Denver Water, the one I was really excited about now wants me to come in .... AGAIN. It's been WEEKS!! Hey, I'll go, but with the way it's been going, I'm figuring it'll be a free lunch. Seriously, 2 months later? This job *might* keep me in Colorado... we'll see. I understand they want to get the right person, but 2 months later, and another "team interview"... and if that one goes well, then possibly ANOTHER interview with the manager.... we'll see what shakes out, but if they wait another 2 months again, I likely won't be in town. I like to work for decisive people/organizations, and the impression I'm getting is not one of decisiveness unfortunately. But I'll give it a fair shake, nonetheless. Wish me luck!

Brent is still getting over being sick. He has caught up on the OT just hasn't posted, why I don't know....
Jim- your in a house all by yourself, why behave? I would be running around naked doing whatever I wanted when I wanted. lol.
Thanks for the update on Brent, Cris.
Having a house to yourself is awesome. Its great to be able to get up and get something or check on something and not have to throw any clothes on.

I'll check in now and then. So here's a Hi all and goodnight all!
Hey Brent. Hang in there man. It'll get better. I've had a cold too and I thought it was gone but it came back again last night. Dangit! No dying okay?

Umm...no matter how many times I run this scenario through my head, I just can't see it as being sexy..because I can't get over how uncomfortable that would be.

Same thing happened to Randy when he was searching for jobs in Denver and ultimately decided to take this job out here in Iowa.
Nearly two months later he had TWO jobs call him in for interviews. These people gotta get a little bit more organized. People don't hang around for 2 months waiting for a job.

Well since you asked me not to die nicely I'll see what I can do for you....lol.
Thanks everyone, I'll get better, just takes lots of rest and with the little one there just isnt a lot of time for that anymore. Have a good day! I'm off to work.

No kidding eh! Some people seem to think that if you apply for a job with them, then that is the only resume you have sent out, and that you should work for them, whenever they want ya to!
