I had the racing heart deal and the shortness of breath was the first time and only the first time. Six times to the ER for IV meds and I had it. No way at my age I was gonna take a pill the rest of my life.
My friends are too dumb to realize what a good vehicle is. They've never had to do a hard days work in their lives.
In high school is all about whats "cool" or what the cool kids think is cool. I remember back in HS, like Junior year we had a teacher who wanted to go around class and have all of us tell him who our favorite musician/band was. I swear every single kid in that class said "Dave Mathews" except me. I wasn't cool in school because 1) I refused to conform to be cool and 2) I was considered one of the nerdy kids.
Don't pay any mind to them. They'll figure it out eventually.

Yep. I wish there were boys like them around here. My 16-year-old little sister doesn't date because she can't stand the boys she goes to school with. She can't stand the Emo's and the rapper kids and the druggies. She complains to me about it all the time. She says "Lisa, why do boys think I want to see their *** cracks? I mean eww." LOL!!!

Mark, I have to say, I really respect the way you have taken charge of your health and how hard you have been working. Getting yourself and your body back on track has gotta be one of the hardest things a person can go through. You are one tough guy. You could probably whop my *** in the gym.

I know what you mean. In high school I was the "freak". I just didn't fit into any of the clicks.I got along better with the older people that I worked with after school.

Part of the thing for her, IMO, is that girls mature faster than boys, for the most part, Tell your sister to hang on it won't always be that way.

.
I use to think the same thing.. I was shocked though at my 20th.. they all called me the popular kid.......I still look back at those days.. I can not figure it out.. I didnt hang with anyone really.. most of the time, I was trying to figure out how to get out of school.. and if I was in school long enough.. I was covered in grease and oil from the auto shop..So.who knows.. I most certainly do not....

who did you name Lisa?
Thanx! I am still getting used to going to the gym again, I am hoping going back to work will help because it is such a physical job. A few years ago I tried the atkins diet and lost 100 lbs and was going to the gym 4 or 5 times a week....kicking myself now for lettin some idiot get under my skin and quitting the gym...even if I had gained the weight, at least if I had stayed active I would be in better shape now...
Yeh that loosing weight is a tough job. I lost about 40 lbs so far just cutting out on all the goodies. Pop sugary foods an such. When i eat out I eat at Subway instead off fast food. I think thats helped a bunch. I sure do feel better though. Hope to lose 40 more. Congrats Mark on getting in shape an loosing some extra weight. Yeh in high school I got along with everybody. But I was far from real popular. But never caused any trouble. I heard somone is dealing with Alziehiemers disease. That is tough. I know off several people that have had it an it is really devestating. Luckily no one in my immediate family had had it knock on wood. Hope you guys have good weather where your at. Another snowstorm hit here today. Wishing for spring.
So I went to the local Army Navy Surpluss and bought some boots today.
My hunting boots weren't cutting it anymore, especially for when I am outside working on the truck in the cold temps.
Never heard of this brand before...but made in the USA and they are comfortable so far.
Yep Chippewa's are good boots. Never owned a pair but know a few that have. For hunting boots I've had good luck eith Cabela's boots but cant forget about my Danners.
Nice pics, by the way.

They started to bring a diesel to the market(again in the states) right before the price of diesel went out the d@mn window. It was going to be a 6 cyclinder in a dually. Dont remember all the specs on it.
