Sorry for the length, y'all. Just had to vent a little. I'm sure most of you see my long *** posts and just skip right over them anyway.
Not true, I'll read all of your posts. If I were you I'd get the hell out Dodge right now, and tell the President that in a democracy it's his turn to keep the windshield clean on the way home. Why people live in the frozen north never ceases to amaze me.
Wonder where all the early morning posters are today? Especially AZ Mark. He usually says something before now and he ain't in the best of health.
we decided to take our life jackets off and put them on upside down like diapers....hang on, yes there was some beer involved... but then we jumped off the boat and you just sort of bob there like a cork,
I did a week long rafting trip down the Grand Canyon years ago, and there's a spring that feeds in to it called the Little Colorado. Water in the GC is about 47*.... (you get used to it, even the girl from AZ did) but the LC is about 75*... so you hike up a ways with your life vest, do your best Brent imitation (and maybe get smacked for humping somebody's leg! LOL!) and float back down!
. My grandmother did have an outhouse at her cabin in the Sierra Nevada's and a pump in the kitchen for running water though.
the farmhouse i grew up in still has the 3 hole outback, and the wellpump is still in the kitchen sink and working.
the house does have a closet converted into a bathroom on the first floor now though. and town water hooked up, but the well water is better, and free..
Mornin' everyone... I'm sitting at the gate waiting on my flight back to TX. It was 15* when I got in the Expy. Just checked the weather and it's going to be 75 in Beaumont tomorrow!! I've seen enough of the cold & snow for tbe season. LOL... I'm with you Mark!!!
See, I love this stuff. We have about 5" on the ground right now.. driving is an absolute riot.. pulling people out of ditches is blast..the more there is, the happy I normally am.. I can not wait to get the boys out to the sled hill today/tomorrow..In the winter months, I have a Mr heater in my bed, put a couple of chairs in there, a thermos with hot chocolate.. the kids love it..and, so do I.. But I must admit.. I love to drive in it!!!
Yeah isnt that the truth. Although, Ive been known to take the civic out when I have needed too, and rip around in the deep snow! I can honestly say I havent got it stuck, or hit someone with it, yet
Well knowing what the heck you're doin helps too, is just as important as the type of vehicle you've got.

EDIT: I kinda like this PhotoBucket thingy...... Thanks, Lisa!!
I did, the strange part was I didnt see any reason why he would have spun out. No stopsign, no turn, nothing.
Yep Photobucket is pretty neato. No problemo. You can mix videos on there too. If your phone only takes short videos, you can edit them all together into one big video.

Americans have two problems. 1) We are scared of change and 2) We think the way we do things is the only way to do things and everyone else is wrong.
Don't lynch me for saying that, just my observation.
I'll redeem myself by saying that our boys (and girls) in uniform are the best on the planet.

Anyone got any ideas for gag gifts for Christmas?
Tristan, I have an idea for you. Find a funny present, something stupid. Like a retarded mug. Step 1: Put it in a box and wrap it. Step 2: Put it in another box and wrap it again. Repeat Step 2 over and over and over again until you can hardly stand it, or run out of wrapping paper, whichever comes first...at least until you've got a huge box!
The present itself won't necessarily be whats funny, but believe me, it'll get the most laughs.
I used to have a mug and the handle was a...peepee. If I still had it id mail it to you.

Is well water better? I only ask because we're looking to buy a place out in the country and water would be well water. My only experience with well water was with a house out in Western Colorado and the land was known for having sulfer issues. It didnt make for the nicest bathing experience, and the water was not drinkable.

lol Pat, glad you're having fun. I'm thinking about heading out and seeing what the roads are like.
Randy is all the way across the state today, I spent part of my morning pleading with him to drive back tonight so that he doesn't get stuck in this massive storm thats heading our way for Thursday.

That was one of my best vacations ever!
LMFAO!!! smacked for humping smeones leg???? sounds about right bro!! Here's something I havent done- river rafting..I really want to. My buddy organizes a rafting trip in Colorado every year, but thats my busy season so its hard to get away. He's the one with property there.
Getting a nice arctic blast this week, lows in the single digits. We got another 1'' last night and it shows snow for the next 3-4 days. I've never had the chance to play in the snow much with my Nitto's but they hold their own really well.

Well water is a real coin toss in my vast experience. It is really pretty much the luck of the draw. I saw lots of cases in Alaska where one well the water may be nearly black, and smell horrible, but the next well down the road pure spring water.
