I always use my bluetooth headset, or the wired headset. What's the difference between talking to a passenger? Not much, other than the person on the phone can't hit you or cover your eyes.
What we need is real driving tests, with regular re-testing. Go try and get your license in Spain or England some time. For starters it'll cost you ~$1000.00 just to try (that's Spain's price from 5 years ago!). Our "tests" here are pathetic, which leads to what we have now.
Many of the laws we have are aimed at the symptoms, not the cause. Lame.

No I meant North Carolina, maybe just some counties but you can ask my son he found out the hard way
Maybe some little towns or counties, but it for sure is not statewide. I have not heard a word about it anywheres near Charlotte, maybe Barry will jump in here and say something.

Brendan, meant to tell you, my old place of employment is looking for an IT person. I am not sure if you are interested. They wouldn't pay near what you are used to getting, but it would be a walk in a park for someone with your skills. PM me if you are interested i'll get you info you'll need.
Hey Mark......my Dad has lived with COPD for over 7 years now, it's the beginning stages of Emphysema. We live at 7000 ft elevation, and he gets around just fine with no oxygen. He does however do breathing treatments everyday, they just involve a couple different inhalers, and it takes some realllllly deep breaths. It gives the lungs a workout, and a shot of steroids......you'll get thru this fine buddy

I ended up getting the Garmin Legend Etrex GPS. It's very easy, and has the capability to do a whole bunch more then I'll ever use. I think I like it, it is accurate within 2 feet!

Just one more year for the degree? I suggest you do it. You don't want to regret it later. You'll earn more with a full degree methinks.
Are you looking to work on the turbines like your mom?
I don't have yet to see the degree earn more than the certificate.. and most of the companies are only looking for as much as the certificate.. so..
Yeah, I am hoping to get on with one of the companies that follows the construction of the turbines. That way I can get some traveling in and get paid in the process..

Oh nice. There are some serious turbines going up near where I am at, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, Iowa. If you ever find yourself out here, hit me up we'll go out for drinks.
