Good morning everyone.
Seems like everyone is having a pretty good day.
So this morning, I get up, make my coffee, getting ready to relax when I hear a knock at the door. I shouldn't have answered it dammit.
Crazy neighbor lady from across the street came to give me a welcome to the neighborhood present..which was actually just leverage to talk me into taking her somewhere downtown to pick up a fruit basket. She doesn't want to take her car because its slick out..she's seen me out and about in the truck.
Boohoo. I of course agreed.
Ain't I a little ****? I will of course help her out, she's a nice lady, but I am a little afraid this behavior will continue. She knows I am here every day, and she knows red is my truck.. I hope she doesn't start coming over to get me to take her places..
Edit. 2 snowmobiles just went past the house on my road, doing about 100 mph. lol

So.... my current contract got extended out to the end of March '09, so I'll have steady income for a bit more.
Other jobs - 1 new one, and only the one I was totally stoked about is still open; the rest didn't work out
Otherwise things are pretty good... except for dating. I'm done with that crap. In your 20's it might be different, but here in CO I've never met so many women with the attitude that their entitled to be chased after, courted, bought stuff, and don't have to do F**K ALL. No thanks. Oh yeah, and I'm from the East Coast too!! Hey Brent... does your wife have a single sister? If it worked for my bro.... LOL!!!

She is only 60ish, and smells like cigarettes and liquor. Oh well, just a short stint downtown, and if it'll help her out, its all good.

Good lookin' out though, bro! Oh, and you really need to come to Denver soon. At the one really good club here, we've got Tiesto this Saturday night, and Kaskade (NOT the hottie, lol) next Saturday. Should be some X'd out hotties there too. Good for eye-candy, but I stay hands-off on those chicas.

Woke up this morning, snow is completely gone. Ground was still covered last night. I guess it warmed up enough to melt it overnight. I know the wind was blowing quite hard. It actually woke me up. Thought it was spring and tornado weather again.
What scares me is that Lisa had the same thing happen a week or two ago, and then got a whole bunch of nasty weather. I hope the same thing doesn't happen here.
Brendan, I don't understand the girls either. I've about given up on trying to make things work and figure if a gal likes me enough, it'll be an equal relationship. I don't play games, or hide how I do or don't feel.

Got a snowday today! Now I'm just waiting for some snow.
Believe it or not I actually like clearing snow. It's just quiet out and nobody else is out in the cold. Plus I have a nice warm cab to sit in while I clear.

Think I'll keep my paycheck to me for a bit, since that seems to be what they're really after. Don't believe me? Check out match.com or similar. They've got an "Income" line. Many women will list themselves at (as an example) 25-35k annually, but they're man should be in the 50-75k, or higher. hmmm....
I'm just tired of the BS.
Edit: Yes, I realize I sound bitter, and admit that I am a bit. That's part of my reason for 'taking a break'.

I meant a nice warm Caterpillar model 236B skidsteer cab. I know 7.3s like to eat fuel during winter idling. However the truck is still in RI until my old mooch, I mean old man, pays me the 6700 bucks he owes me so I can go pay the balance on it.
