Jeremy no worries, I was only joking. I have a snow day today so that's why I said I had an extended weekend. There was actually a fight at my highschool yesterday. It started when a kid(let's call him Bob) was messing around with another kid(we will call him Eric), well Bob knocked Eric's books out of his hand so Eric punches Bob in the back of the head. Bob turned around and put Eric in a head lock I guess there was punches thrown back and forth. I was not there to see any of it. Both kids aren't coming back until after christmas break. The only trouble I have been in this year is coming to school about 30 min. late because I accedentally over slept.

 

Okay. That makes me feel better. Accidentally oversleeping is something we all have done.

I had a crappy drive into Houston this morning. Traffic was backed up on every route I tried. Then the rental car people were idiots when I got there. Fortunately, there's a Pappdeaux's at the airport and I had Blackened Redfish smothered in Crawfish salsa over Dirty Rice and a big, strong margarita. It's amazing how a great meal and a stiff drink can make me feel so much better!!

About to catch my flight to Dallas. See y'all on the other side...

You dont sound bitter, just realistic. Im just glad I realized it at a young age. My uncle married 9 times...all his women just "loved" him so much...divorce...half...it was just as much as his fault than anyone though.

I do the same as you, I go out with my friends and have a good time! Everyone asks me why Im not dating any of the "hot friends" I have and I always say theyre my friends and I would like to keep it that way! All that would cause is problems and drama....no go for me!

Only fight I got in wasnt started by me but I finished it! In school suspension....basically lunch detention...

What are snow days My kids have heat days, they still go to school but aren't allowed to play outside if it is over 110*. I am glad you weren't in the fight and I can't tell you how many time I have over slept.

It pisses me off that he won't give me results but I am trying to think positive about it. I would like to think that if he found anything wrong with me he would not make me wait for results. I talked to the pharmacist last night when I picked up more meds and he said the eating is from the pills and he thinks the sleeping is from the pain.

I think it is great that you two have remained friends! Not many people can do that after a long relationship.

 

Well apparently I hadn't noticed how bald the tires on the CAT are. I had to do the whole bottom of my driveway with the KM110 because the CAT could hardly get enough traction to push itself up the driveway nevermind enough traction to push itself and a bucket of snow. And I fell on my butt when I slipped on a spot of snow the CAT tires packed down. Dad should be home with some ice melt any time now, however. So hopefully I can get some of that down and get the driveway end down to asphalt so the kitty can grab enough traction to move some snow.

This post makes my day. I'm laughing so hard I can't drink my Pepsi. There are a few members here that are praying for snow. Let me tell ya, youse guys can have it and all the fun that is attached to it. If you want a snow vacation, plan for 2 weeks in Utah or Colorado, but this praying for it in your driveway and front yard is just plain crazy.

 

Well I was out and about with her for 3 hours.

Turns out we were going to the local Salvation Army distribution center to pick up a box of food. That took about an hour and a half. Wow what an experience. Lots of people there, waiting in line for hours for just a box of dried goods.

She ran into one of her friends there, so I gave that gal a ride home too. And then I got suckered into going for coffee at the local Hy-Vee. She tried to get me to take her garage sale-ing.

Since I got home, she has already come knocking on my door twice. Once to drop off a book, the other time to drop off some food she said she wouldn't eat.

Comon Brendan, your generalities hurt my feelings.

Nothing wrong with being single for a good stint, though. You don't try to find the right person, she'll come along when the time is right.
