So.... my current contract got extended out to the end of March '09, so I'll have steady income for a bit more.
Other jobs - 1 new one, and only the one I was totally stoked about is still open; the rest didn't work out
Otherwise things are pretty good... except for dating. I'm done with that crap. In your 20's it might be different, but here in CO I've never met so many women with the attitude that their entitled to be chased after, courted, bought stuff, and don't have to do F**K ALL. Good morning everyone.
Seems like everyone is having a pretty good day.
So this morning, I get up, make my coffee, getting ready to relax when I hear a knock at the door. I shouldn't have answered it dammit.
Crazy neighbor lady from across the street came to give me a welcome to the neighborhood present..which was actually just leverage to talk me into taking her somewhere downtown to pick up a fruit basket. She doesn't want to take her car because its slick out..she's seen me out and about in the truck.
Boohoo. I of course agreed.
Ain't I a little ****? I will of course help her out, she's a nice lady, but I am a little afraid this behavior will continue. She knows I am here every day, and she knows red is my truck.. I hope she doesn't start coming over to get me to take her places..
Edit. 2 snowmobiles just went past the house on my road, doing about 100 mph. lol

Brendan, I don't understand the girls either. I've about given up on trying to make things work and figure if a gal likes me enough, it'll be an equal relationship. I don't play games, or hide how I do or don't feel.

Same here. I think for a bit I'm just going to hike with the dogs, get back in to climbing, and go dancing with my Copenhagen buddy. She's a hottie, a great dancer, fun, and there's no romance there, so it's just chill.
Think I'll keep my paycheck to me for a bit, since that seems to be what they're really after. Don't believe me? Check out match.com or similar. They've got an "Income" line. Many women will list themselves at (as an example) 25-35k annually, but they're man should be in the 50-75k, or higher. hmmm....
I'm just tired of the BS.
Edit: Yes, I realize I sound bitter, and admit that I am a bit. That's part of my reason for 'taking a break'.

Forecasting 7-14. It just started maybe 15 minutes ago. They're saying 2 inches an hour. Unfortunately I don't have my license yet so I can't go do commercial snow clearing. Just my house and my grandparents house. My house has a long driveway so I use the CAT and my grandparents have a tiny driveway so I use a STIHL KM110 with Powersweep attachment.

Well the snow removal company still hasnt shown here. I just took the snowblower out and did the front walk.. we are at about 8-10" with some drifts up to 12.. roads around still arent plowed yet..so it could still be fun for the drive home..

We won't ever get back together, but we have managed to stay good friends. We lived together for nearly 5 years, and didn't split on bad terms, just figured out that it wasn't going to work. Neither one of us wants to abandon the friendship we have.
Jacob, I'm not going to lecture you, but dude, you can't be fighting in school. No matter what the reason, be the bigger person. If you gotta have a "talk" with someone, at least make sure it's not on school property or at a school related function.

Good afternoon everyone!
I am drawing a complete blank as to who Mark is refering too..... I must be really slow this morning if Pete can figure it out before I can and he just joined the OT a few weeks ago.
I finally called my doc yesterday to see if they had any of my test results and they have them all but he is waiting until he gets my EEG results to go over them with me. My EGG is next Tuesday at 930 so it looks like I could be waiting till after the new year to hear anything. I asked his nurse if he could give me something for the pain and all he did was up the dosage on the pills I am already taking. He wants me to try this for a week and call back if they still aren't helping, so it looks like I have atleast another week with these fun headaches. I really need to get off these pills, all I do is sleep and eat on them.
