80hatchstang:
Calibration number 4-53E-R00 goes with part list #314.
Part list says the number on the ecm (PCM) would be F4TF-12A650-AVA and the Ford part number would be F4TZ-12A650-AVA.
It looks like you have a 1994 5.0L F150 4X4 with a Manual Transmission and a 3.55 rear end.

I have a truck without any labels on the original (to me) PCM, calibration code 4-76A-ROO. Just found this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post19078344. I have called two different ford dealerships and given them my VIN and they have given me different part numbers. 1994 F250 XL 5.8 E4OD.
Original - No markings (truck runs, but doesn't give any codes) The capacitors look fine, but it does have a busted resistor
Ford #1 -TB (Didn't work in my truck)
Ford #2 - AJA (truck runs, but dealing with code 522 and some kind of transmission issue)
Forum Post: - PA (guess I'll try this next)

CALIBRATION: 4-76A-R00
PROCESSOR AND CALIBRATOR ASSY., (EEC-IV)
Number on PCM F4TF 12A650-PA
Ford Part number F4TZ 12A650-PA

So I got a PCM F4TF-12A650-PA, but it is giving me a code about 4x4 (error 633) but my truck is a 2WD auto transmission. Rebuilt PCM:

I did find this sticker on the door frame of the truck, which seems to be the same engineering number.

The 4x4 bulb in the cluster may be burned out, replace with a LED or missing.
It may not be seeing 12volts on pin #12 of the PCM.
The 12 volts comes from the cluster 4x4 bulb.
They may have used the same PCM for both 4x4 and 4x2 trucks.

This is an interesting article about this situation, basically saying a bad connection can cause this, either at the E4OD trans harness, or at the PSOM:
Code 47/633 in E4OD/4R100 - Transmission Digest

Hopefully replacing a burned out bulb fixes it.

Thanks @wwhite @subford . I have returned the PCM I have (ebay purchase) and order from Cardone. I have also replaced the bulbs in the instrument cluster, so when the new PCM gets here we'll see if its an issue or not. The now returned PCM did also make the engine run like crap compared to my unmarked original PCM, so that is part of why I just returned it.

edit:
New PCM (-PA) from Cardone has done the trick. Thanks all!

Subford I appreciate your help earlier but that number you gave me is for a 5.0 as I was told by parts store. My truck is a 5.8 motor so could you please help me.

For 8 76A-R00:
The E8TZ 12A650-AUA is the part number from the Ford micro fiche and also from the Ford computer look up for the 5.8 motor and not the 5.0L.
The number on the unit from the Ford micro fiche would be E8TF 12A650-AU1A or E8TF 12A650-AU2A
The part list number is #642.

eec-iv. Replacement P/N

I gotta 94 f150 4.9 E4OD. Looking to replace computer. Calibration code is (3-52J-R10) followed by HHJ in lower right corner.
Vin is 1FTDF15Y8RNA80362

Really could use some reassurance.
