So what happens in January? Job search until then?
Actually. January's contract is the less scary one. It doesn't really matter who wins the bid and is awarded the contract......it's not like one can just hire 50 qualified turboprop technicians off the street, so we're pretty safe there. Management are the ones running scared in 09.

Oh I see. That's good news. Just curious, I had never seen a post that went into detail about what you did for a living, or why these contracts had such a bearing on the future of things.

For the longest time Scott had me fooled into thinking that he was working on Powerstrokes for a living with amount of knowledge that he would show in some of his posts from a few years ago.
I had to ask one day and he told me what his job was and it surprised me.
Good morning everyone. Hope today finds everyone well.
Scott (Cookie), good news on the job, bro. Glad to hear that someone did their job....finally.
Lisa, you should see Dallas when it's time to vacuum. It's hilarious to watch a 90#, Labrador/Rottweiler mix hide from a little machine.
In other news, one of the kids crashed my home PC so bad that we had to reformat the hard drive. I lost everything. Pictures, documents, favorites, all of the PSD threads that I kept for future reference...everything.
Morning all. Signs of fall are showing up around Birmingham and Mobile... the sweet gum trees are turning a dull brownish yellow. The turnips, collards, onions, broccoli, and garlic are all planted in my parents' garden, too, which is the most sure sign there is about the coming of fall for me.

Man scott, sorry to hear about your PC. I never understood how people could crash a computer so easily. Do they just go in and start deleting programs and pushing buttons or what?
Why are dogs so afraid of vacuums? I could almost run Mattie over with the lawnmower before she'll friggin move, but she is devastated when I bring the vacuum out. ? I liked that picture because she got as high on the couch as possible, and managed to balance her 45-lb butt on one of my pillows. Because, being 2" higher might save her.

I hear ya. There are a few other members I could easily assume are Powerstroke mechanics.

Good morning all. Leaves starting to change here also. Let me tell you, it was cold on the motorcycle the last two mornings (low 40's). I love winter though.
