I almost put gas in them a couple of weeks ago, but my wife said " are you crazy! there's no snow. you'll just get the boy's all wound up" So I got my back up against the and lashed out a meek "yes pet". We had a few inches over the last couple of day's, but still not enough to ride. I was in Brandon last weekend for a hockey tourney and they had no snow at all, every thing was brown. I probably won't even use my snow blower this winter. I only put on about 75 miles last year on them in the field in front of my house, so this summer i'll have to take the carbs off and clean them. How but you?
Grant, the trails are great here, weve had snow & mild weather off & on, I just got back from a 10 day trip to northern Quebec where the guys put 2500 MILES on the 5 Skidoo 1200 cc 4 strokes in 10 days, they do big miles every weekend over here, its been great
We used to mile like that untill we had kids. Even if we did have snow with hockey it sure limits our free time. here's a few picks from a couple of winter's ago.
It's like new, it has a Ski Doo MXZ windshield modified to fit. It's an 84, I bought it off E-Bay from a guy in Minneapolis for $700.00 and had one of my trucks pick it up on it's way home. I've had it for 5 yrs now. the V-Max is an 98, I also bought it 5 yrs ago off E-bay out of Minot ND for $1300.00 also had one of my trucks pick it up. It too was in immaculate condition, they hadn't had snow for about 3 yrs in a row and I bought it from a dealer clearing out all his used inventory.
Wow, thats the way to buy them for sure, These guys that ride here are high rollers that put on about 10 thousand miles a yr so they buy a new 4 stoke every yr, at about 14 grand each, pay to play, these guys are loaded & they like to put miles on.
They pay me to drive the truck with enclosed trailer plus they pay all my expenses for 10 days, I've done this for 10 yrs for them, lotsa fun...
