[QUOTE looks like I need to load my SRL tune from Matt and do a little challange!
He was talking about the Mustang and after driving a tuned diesel I'm not sure how the Mustang would do against a 4x4 boosted launch? Especially since I still have to drop a posi rear end in it. Speaking of which if anyone comes across a good 9" rear end that will fit a 65-66 Mustang, please let me know.
I'd be willing to see how the trucks do against each other if you're willing
I still have to laugh at people that bitch about the mileage they get with these trucks after tuning them. I get a consistent 17-18 MPG (hand calculated) unloaded on the highway and that's running it between 120-130km/hr. Not bad for a 9000lb truck that will tow a house and can clean up almost every vehicle I've come across.
Also thanks to the other members for the welcome. I'll get some pics of the Stang posted up in a couple days and GIGGER I'll have to see what the wife says, haha
Just got our Internet up. A honey wagon with a boom took out the hydro wires off 7 poles on the service road out front of our terminal. I guess he forgot to put the boom down. Lost power yesterday from 8:30 am till 11am, we hooked up a generator about 9:30 am to just power the phones and computers, no lites, had too work by flashlite. Then at 3pm yesterday our internet went down. Our whole operation depends on the net, so it was pretty boring around here for a while.
Here is the logo on the side of our trucks.
Here is a picture of one of our trucks we sold recently, I'll try and download some of our new one's also.
Morris: It's pure hell when you lose your internet alone in this bussiness. In the old day's You just relied on a phone list and phone, my phone list is on my computer so when it's down I'm in trouble.
Same here, my phone list, addresses and other contact info is on my puter.
I can remember times when our rural overhead phone lines would often go down in the winters.
