yeah i agree with ya's on that point. life would be simpler.
of course people with common sense wouldn't have anything to do! wouldn't that be a perfect world! NAH!!!!!
its real nice to hear that its in good hands. the guy says that he's lowered it so far, tinted the windows, and turned my flowmaster exhaust into straight pipe. he thinks the 351 is tired so he's building a 300hp 302 for it... definately seems like a guy with some ambition.
we're trying to get a ban on heavy equipment, semi's cattle haulers and such on our road. sure its a grid, but its a residential area and there's a 40 km/h limit posted, but most guys go by here in excess of 80km/h, police included. something must be done before a kid gets killed!!!
That is a huge problem Sherm. You know when its gonna get fixed? Right after someone gets seriously hurt or killed.
If the grid is well used, then ya might not have any luck getting heavy stuff banned, but maybe at the least you guys can get the speed limit enforced.
i live across from sandy high school and these people blow by here at 35 and 40 miles an hour. and its a 20 mph zone. we do have an inverted speed bump in front of my house but that don't
slow'em down. and we have 4 speed bumps on meeker st. i have a corner lot.
The highway heading out to the oil patch here is one dangerous road too. Speed limit is 100 km/h but it not unusual to have trucks going +130 during the "rush hours". I will avoid driving on the highway if I can during those times. I know it's not nearly as bad as Sherm's case. Some people just don't use what is attached above their shoulders! Oh, we are back to that common sense topic again........ Silly me.
