Yeah they say that your supposed to change the oils before the winter, but Ive left them through the winter too. My dad doesnt change his every year, and his stays ok. I wouldnt worry too much!
as long as all the seals are good and no water has gotten into the lag a person should be ok. if water gets in there and freezes there's a possibility that the lag could crack then you're in for $$ repairs. i'm considering selling the boat and looking for a wakeboard style boat... not too seriously, but its on my mind...
Yeah, the wakeboard style boats are fun, but let me tell ya first hand, I sure miss having a smaller fishing boat too.
Let me know when/if you sell yours, i may be interested in it. Im looking (not too seriously) at a nice little lund up at my womans cabin thats for sale. 14 foot with a 30 horse on it, would be perfect for getting into those lakes where the big ol four winns cant go!
Supersized Paul! Made just for Canadians. You can't get them in the states. It will be at least another month before the ice on Cold Lake melts. They call it Cold Lake for a reason!
Diesel powered ship type ice breaker sounds about right!
In Manitoba, the next province, 500 miles over, there`s bad flooding due to the 3 ft thick pieces of jammed ice chunks.
I think that least one life has been lost due to this bad flood that started some were around ND.
