no, i'm definately not complaining. i find it hilarious how my partners '00 chebby 1/2 ton, regular cab, long box, 4x4- can only get 10-12mpg in the city and 18-19 on the highway... his truck is almost 1/2 the weight of mine, same rear end, and the 5.3
Good afternoon/evening David.
Hope your weather is better than our`s, it seems we`re back into afew cooler days with just above freezing temps and light rain. So far we`re not getting the heavy snow fall.
one place about 2hrs from here (i forget the name) had 8" of snow today... archerwill i think it was. hopefully they got it all and none comes further!!
Well for a change it was a fairly nice day today. A few thin clouds and a little wind but all in all, not bad. I had gotten all excited on Tuesday as the forcast was saying 17 for the weekend. But go figure, that sure changed but I guess 13 and partly cloudy will be okay.
I know what you mean Preppy, I just called the guy I'm getting our boat from to make arrangements when to pick it up. Two weeks from this Saturday I should be hitting the water. Goog thing Regina beach is so close.
I am confused about the tow rating for the truck which I am buying to pull an RV of about 12000 pounds.
The sticker says they added a trailer hitch receiver but nothing on sticker about a towing package. Asked a couple dealers and they said the 6.0 L Diesel comes with trans cooler and larger radiator, the key elements of a tow package so they don't offer "tow package". I was afraid the truck wouldn't tow the weight, but looking in another pub it is rated at 12,600 with no mention of tow package.
Am I correct in assuming if its a diesel with auto transmission it will come with trans cooler and larger radiator???
