I'm 73.5 inches tall.....got slowly up to 198 and said enough is enough and put myself on a diet.....once I start my bigger concern is I will just keep gaining.
I'll be 45 someday and 220....50 and weigh 240....etc.
I see it happen all the time.
So while I am still not to far over is the time to get it under control.
Since I am fairly muscular and lift lots at work etc.
More concerned with my weight and cardio, than putting on muscle.
I should be doing cardio because of my heart condition but it's hard to keep to a program especially when I spend so much time on here and in the shop...lol me

I bought a thread mill but it was too big in upstairs in our house and too hard to move downstairs plus I was too bored using it so I gave it away.

So far all my yearly medicals have always come back fine, got my fingers crossed.
I`ve had slim friends that exercised regularly but still passed away at a relatively young age so I guess it`s the luck of the draw as much as healthy living is.
You guys should get a heavy bag with stand and a speed bag and take up boxing. Its good for cardiovascular, toning up the shoulders and back and it gets rid of stress. You don't need boxing gloves, just a decent set of regular gloves as your not doing competitive boxing. You also don't get sore like doing a workout gets you. Walking is the best, 20 miles a week has been my program for over 4 years, just avoid the higher traffic areas as the car exhaust will get to the lungs.
