Just need to get rid of the orange peel in the paint and polish it before they go on the truck. Will do a final polishing after it is completely assembled..
Thats what I like about these work trucks of mine
When I get back on the project, each door will probably take as many hours to finish as the other trucks took to do
Good morning folks.
Good to hear that your truck projects are coming along Perry and John.
Not much happening here today, will check out afew stores for any left over Boxing Day specials then putz in my shop.
It`s going to be quiet New Year's eve for me, my wife is still out of town with her sick brother.
Back at you, have a good day Grant. A lot of folks I know have this week off work.
Hello everyone. The RM plowed out the roads today so the kids left for home. We got a fair bit of snow but got away lucky compared to a lot of areas. My son really likes his new f150 Morris, it gets really good gas mileage too. He has a 5 litre in it. He lifted the hood and showed me, it didn't seem cluttered with pollution crap like some of the older ones are. The engine looked all aluminum too, I was suprised about that. I haven't looked at a newer engine for a long time though. The truck really road nice too.
Trucking is pretty slow around here this time of the year Colin.
Where in SE Sk are you Reg? We only got a few inches over Christmas, the streets and roads are in ''good winter driving condition''.
Your son`s F150 is a 2016 or is a 2017? My friend`s 2015 Lariat 5.0 seems to get a bit better mileage than my 2012 5.0 but I`m not complaining. I`m glad that your son really likes his F150, I sure like mine too. My daugher in law has a 2015 Super Crew/3.7 that gets great mileage.
Slowly getting things sorted out with this wiring, should be wiring the gauge cluster tomorrow after I run some ground wires..need to get a brake switch too..
I'd rather do anything else on the truck, some of it is straight forward, it's some of the drawings and explanations in the instructions that get confusing but I'm nibbling away at it..
I'm lucky to get tail lights wired properly, will get someone with electrical experience to wire the project when that time comes, I'll be the helper that day.
