I paid 6500 for it back in January, which was top of the scale for it then, but it was in pretty decent shape. I've been looking for something to compare it to on Kijiji but they all seem to be 400k on them for nothing, or under 150k for a premium. The claims guy said if they find that it is worth 6-6500 then they will likely repair it, but if its 5-5500 or so it will likely be deemed a total loss. Quite frankly, I'd almost welcome the total loss. I need tires, brakes soon, and I'm pretty sure the ball joints are getting pretty worn and need attention before too long.

If you can find another in decent shape and buy yours back cheap enough to use as a parts truck you might be ahead Sherm, just a thought.

Happy Saturday mornin'all. Just got back from the wrecker and got the brake parts I needed. It was 9am and hot! Took the kid's and a buddy along. Kalan was not allowed in the yard (has to be 16yrs) so Jordan waited with him. We only took a 1/2 hr to find and remove what we needed. $8.00 for the lever's (bought spares too) $42.00 for breakfast. Priceless. Sherm. You may be surprised at what they offer you. MPI gave us $5000.00 more for our explorer than I was hoping for. It only cost us $3000.00 extra to get the Edge and 4 yrs newer. Enjoy the ride today Morris. Good luck with the truck Curtis. John. The truck will be in the garage sometime today, and I can get the brakes finished and bled. I think I'm missing some clip's on the dash for thar deflector you gave me. Can you take a picture of the dash on your pickup where it mount's?
Have a great day guy's.

Here's a couple pictures I had in my build thread, the bottom pic shows the best, there are small tabs turned up at the vents ( 2) the rest are just small divots with a screw hole in them. There are also small little tabs sticking up for the deflector to rest up against. I can take another couple pictures this afternoon.

The Aerostar I got the brake part's off has the right color seat belts I want. I'm going back one evening this week when it's cooler. It was also full of junk, so I'll have to make room to work. It was far too hot to do anything this morning. No wind or clouds.

Afternoon everyone.
She's a scorcher today!! Yesterday was worse.
Couldn't wait yesterday to check out truck. Ended up having to do one mor injector on the drivers side. I think the ficm that powers 1,4,6,7 killed 3 or them when it went out. Took me 2.5 hours to swap it out. +36 and working outside there's more sweat in the valley than dust now lol. Took her to selkirk today and she's running much better now. Still slight miss so I'll scan either tonight or tomorrow.

Glad to see you for some parts Grant!!

Bummer on the Ford Sherm.
If you guys remember last summer I was trying to buy a 91 ranger off a local fella here. Unfortunately he passed last week and hoping the family gives me a call to purchase when their ready. Low low kms and untouched. Be nice to have a small secondary work buggy for those jobs I don't need my eX. Have a lot of my old 91 stuff kicking around. Alum rims, box liner tonnou cover. Here's hoping!!

This any better Grant? The heat wasn't too bad in the shop or in the house but outside was a killer.
