Sounds like a busy and productive day Grant.
It got fairly warm so it was muggy but the rain was certainly welcome, looking for more if we can get it. Apparently some of the north got rain as well to help with some of the forest fires, that is really great news. About 3 yrs ago I sold a nice 68 Mustang convertible that ended up being surrounded by forest fires, hopefully now it`ll be safe.
That console looks great John.

Looking good John.
Job well done Grant.

Spent a lot of hours on my girl last week. Trial and error but I feel pretty good getting deep into the motor. One more is fading on me. 99% sure when the ficm logic side fried she took out the injectors.
Just. Figured out how to post pics through garage talk.

Thanks Colin and John. . . I'm very close. Using the truck to pull trailer, gotta get caught up work wise. I kind of dogged it last week as mumzie was on holidays

Consol looks great John. What did you order for your interior? Curtis: Great idea with the work platform. Sure beat's the hell out of stacking milk crates. Keep up the good work.

Thank Morris, I sure feel better about things. Sure got myself worked up worrying about it. I don't vier from maintenance so I was surprised when she acted up. Guys at shop pulled apart one of my cores, said for 125000miles plus whatever PO put on it that they looked excellent. Testament to synthetics and Ford filters!!

I hear ya. Plank worked great. If I laid on the rad just right it looked like I had abs when I got up.

Morning boys... Curtis you should quit messing with that Ex...its too much headache for you. Donate it to me

My 02 F150 is sitting at the Ford body shop awaiting its demise. SGI allowed $4600 max to fix, but wants a guaranteed estimate in writing from the shop. Body shop manager said in order for them to do that, they have to dismantle it and make a list of everything right down to the last drip of water it'll take to get it fixed. He doesn't think its possible to get it done for that so will probably be a total loss. I've found a sweet '90 F250 that I would really like to pick up, so crossing my fingers. Manager said if they're allowing $4600 max to repair, they're probably paying out around 7g for a settlement.

Hope everyone is having great summer days!!
