Jeepers...miss a few days and you guys get lobster tails and a cross dressing, GM driving, 'Toban in your midst
Guess I'm heading east next week for a few days. My dad has to have an emergency bowel surgery. He has a bowel/bladder fistula. Basically they have created a passage between them and he's got pewp mixing with his bladder contents. Surgery is the only correction.
Love the new signature Gerry
Our dogs cornered a skunk under a bin yesterday. There was a dandy stink raised, but they didn't get the spray on them. We make a habit of checking them over for ticks every night, usually finding a few, but this year with our free ranging chickens they haven't been near as bad.
Another hot, dry day here and with day 3 of my cold I`m not a real happy camper.
I hope all goes well with your dad's surgery Sherm.
If it gets any worse for ticks around here chickens sounds like a good option.
Thanks guys. It should just be one surgery... He has had multiple surgeries over the years due to the Chrons disease. A tough old bird. If it weren't for the Chrons he would be healthy as a horse. The rest of his body and organs are 100%
I seen some of that on the Winnipeg news this morning, must be some pretty big fires. Hope we don't get too much of the smoke out our way, it will be hard on my wife.
I certainly hope the smoke doesn't reach you John, a friend with bad breathing problems mentioned this morning that he wasn't doing well. Already the smoke is so thick I can hardly see across my farm yard.
