Morning Folks... Got 4 headless chickens already, waiting for water to be scalding and commence processing. Hoping to get them all done today, we have 22 or so left.
Nice chilly morning, about 8 above...time to clean the chimney in preparation for the wood heat again this year.
Have a good weekend everyone. Some people have invited us over to watch the Labor Day Classic game... I'm not a big fan of football, but I do like to take advantage of drinking someone elses booze...

I guess something got lost in translation .My daughter, Being 7 month's pregnant,the girls in the family are having a baby gift party for her . So I stayed outside .

Thanks John . This old house is hearing the sounds of little children again ! The place has been in my family since the 1800's . I have tax papers back to 1892 ! Good for my heart to see new children that will know this land .

Not good at pics . But , I live in the new house . My Uncle finished it in 1940 . The old house is long gone . I will say that Grandma made him use parts of the old house in the new one . I remember oil lamps and a wood cook stove as normal life here . I still use the draw well some times .
