Hello Grant and John.
The good about the Galaxie is that it is complete and I suspect low mileage one. The bad is that I think it was parked for many years in tall grass so the floors, the rear quarters and other parts of it are likely rusty. I haven`t looked to see if the frame is rusted. I`ve seen a lot worse but I`ve certainly seen better restoration candidates.
PM me what you think you would like for it, is there any rust through in the trunk..?
Good morning folks
Mixed up weather day, lots of small rain clouds but warm. Not much to do today, but that list will grow
Had light rain here early this morning, I was going to lay some paint today but couldn't seem to push myself out to the shop this morning, it was a little on the cool side too but tomorrow should prove to be better and this gives me more time to build up some courage...lol
If it`s as wide as my old Ford 850 I shouldn`t get into trouble cutting my front ditches with the JD Perry. I had the feeling that the Ford would slide long before it would tip.
I`ll check the trunk for rust today before I forget John.
Great to hear that you`re at the paint stage, what colour?
Well, got everything done and then the rumble started, 20 minutes later the downpour started, should be over within the hour and I can do some running around.

Painting it limerock green or another name for it is also rainforest green, like this
I just hope it turns out looking as nice as it is in that picture, am not all that great when if comes to painting but to cheap to hire someone to do it for me...lol
Good day to all here.
Going to be sweet John, I think it`s a really great colour choice!
Any combines running out your way yet Coin? A few are finally going around here.
Good to hear that freight is rolling again Grant, you have a great weekend too!
Getting body work and paint isn`t affordable any more John, it`s great that you can do your own.

My wife keeps telling me I'm cheap but, I prefer the term frugal.

Nobody around here going, we've had an inch of rain in several down pours today.
No rain so things are good here Perry, it was a real nice late summer, early fall day.
That`s a real bummer about the rain Colin, looks good for later next week.
How are you doing Ian, working hard?
I sure hope the weather weenie isn't bsing about the next week, it sure would be nice to have a decent week. Rained so hard yesterday that I had to do paint touch ups on some boards. Lets hope we all get a piece of what's supposed to be coming weather wise.
