Not a lot going on, I plan on finishing up my son`s acreage road and then a BBQ at my nearby neighbour`s place late Sat afternoon. How about you, any thing good planned for this weekend?

Dethatching is different than power raking. Dethatching goes deeper into the soil and followed by grass seeding. This is done in the spring.

All you guys talk about lawn work makes my head hurt ... I mow and bushog . The grass grows too much for my taste .... But 50 acre is more than most deal with . Enjoy Fall , Winter is close ! Pack in extra fire wood , My bones feel another hard winter ahead , Or I am just getting old ....

Raining here already this morning, thankfully we finished harvest yesterday. Had some excitment on thursday though as our combine went up in flames. I don't have any pics because my phone was in the combine and my wife has here phone at work. Anyways, all is good. Have a good weekend everyone.

A pretty cool day here but since we didn`t get any rain the combines can keep rolling.
That would be too much excitement for me Colin, I came close once but got the fire out in time so no damage.

Morning All!!
Had a decent weekend here... Started it Friday morning with a productive goose hunt, moved to the north country on Friday afternoon for an unproductive weekend of elk hunting... Relaxed a little, hunted a little, ate too much, drank too much. Was a fun weekend all in all.
