I thought you did the power raking in the spring to get rid of all the dead grass?
Some clients who did not water enough have dead grass (thatch). Power raking several weeks before the ground starts to freeze is just as good as the spring.

I have never liked the heat , still don't . I always loved the cold . Cutting firewood in short sleeves in the snow and 30 f temps . I put 140 thousand miles on a KZ 1100 . I drove it year round ! Back in the 90's I was riding my old Goldwing , in the sleet and rain .... I changed my mind . I now find the cold less tolerable year after year .
