Another fairly decent day, it turned out ok for this long weekend so far but it looks like rain for the next two days.
No more for a while Gerry, it`s a full house around here now.

There's a test and tune/family fun day at the drag strip here today. A few guys have been bugging me to bring the cobra. I would like to get into racing, but don't really want to start with my cobra...lol

Good Monday morning peeps... Typical to May long weekend, it is raining. In my less than 30 years on this planet, I haven't seen a full May long weekend where it has been beautiful the entire weekend.
I chickened out on going to the drag strip. Even had the support of my wife, but really don't want to take the chance on wrecking my Cobra... Some day I'll build a car that's meant to be punished on a track...

Was brought out to the Keg for dinner. Had the prime roast with prawns.
Then we did the strip for cruise night. Spot a gmc with entire truck wrapped in camo decal and a lift on 35. The exhaust had truck sounding mean. A sheep in sheeps clothing. His truck could not out accelerate my 250. Sad.
Later that night I power puked my dinner.

Congrats on winning the ball game Grant, too bad it was at the cost of a new windshield lol.
Are you still selling your Cobra Sherwin??
So I was talking with one of the guys that convinced me to get a diesel the other day and now he sold his 08 Powerstroke and bought an 06 Hummer H2!! Its only got 15,000km on it but still its a HUMMMER!!
. He's also selling his Corvette and buying a BMW because he just got married and wants a 4 door for when they have kids.
This is the part that convinced me I want a diesel lol

TJ, ever see or tango with that 1000hp black 08+ duty out there. I saw it in a shop that's helping me with my tranny. They redid the motor and tranny. He split the tranny in 1/2 with the HP. Crazyness!! Congratt's on the placing at the show BTW
Thank you. No I have not since that truck but would like to. What shop is at? Maxim Muffler & Auto does all my mechanical work. I am heading there shortly to make a dolly for my plows. Trans Tech did all my gears on 150. Owner Paul has over 25yrs of experience and does great work.

To top it all off, the kid that owns it has paid for it in full and they refuse to give the truck back to him & he is resorting to legal action to get it back.
Totally clueless and bad work.

I put some thought into it and decided that I will be keeping it. A couple of cruises in it sealed the decision lol...
sounds like some rage inside there MrsPlow... Welcome to the forum.
Maybe those clowns should tell you the real story with that "1000hp" 6.4...like the fact they have had the trans out of the truck FOUR times AND that the rebuilt engine they put in leaked from everywhere AND that it has so much blow by it has to come out again due to improper break in.
To top it all off, the kid that owns it has paid for it in full and they refuse to give the truck back to him & he is resorting to legal action to get it back.
