That's personal choice... I used to have a problem worse than that but realized life may be too short so I work a lot less and enjoy life a lot more.
Its Friday!!! Happy weekend to all.
We're having to cut our back yard every 2 days. Its about a 4 acre piece to cut. The front is about an acre and has been a bit slower to grow but after yesterdays rain it is looking real good and green.
Looking for some advice... A friend of mine has a '77 F250 that he bought off the original owner. Its a camper special 4x4, in very good condition for an unrestored truck. Has some typical rust over the back wheels, 400CI, 4sp manual. I've finally convinced him to consider selling it to me, now I'm unsure what to offer him. Wife and I really like the truck but I don't like offering on emotion as usually end up paying too much for stuff lol... What's everyones thoughts?
Mornin everyone!! Been crazy busy. Coming home around 6 for supper from one interior reno then heading back out to another for the evening. Almost caught up. Gotta get some outside work here, been a weird season for me having nothing but interior reno's. Not used to that. Note to self, "remember that taping and mudding SUCKS" lol.
We're rowin the same boat about puttin in hours but like Sherm, I'm only doing it right now to complete projects that customers wanted done while I was injured. They waited for me so now i'm bustin nuts to get things done for them and once complete I'll be spending more time at home with the fam.
Who did your tranny Trent?

I'm with you on this one. I only do it when I have too, and I mean really, really have too. I guess if I had proper training in technique it would probably be ok, but I struggle to make it look the way I want it too so I don't enjoy it. Is this the same case for you?
After the garage, basement and now interior reno I've learnt to add more water (pudding consistancy), mix slow and 3-4 coats with barely any sanding now. Walls are silky smooth without all the elbow grease (hey, smilie's aren't workin) (insert "thumbs up" here)
Some things I'm really good at and some things i'm not. Mudding is def not one of them lol.
Home early today for this guy. Took my zero turn in for hydrostat oil change today, ordered rims for mumzies car, dentist poked me with needles, final mud at interior reno, booked my truck in for Monday at trans shop and SUPPER with the Family!! Pffeew, what a day. Best part is I get some home time tonight!! Tomorrow is 2 small jobs in the morning then home to Par3 the yard.
Hopefully everyone here has a great evening and an even better weekend!!
Grant, in catching up, hopefully mumzies feeling better!! For that coach to forfet that game with a late player isn't teaching his team any good sportsmanship. The fundimental structure of sports is "sportsmanship" at the end of the day. Crazy where it seems to be going at all levels/ages these days. Good luck to the team this season!!

Another nice day here for outside work, I'm really lovin this weather!
I`ve got to go with that too, every old vehicle I`ve ever had was a real money pit.
I would think, not seeing it, $1000-1500 would be in a fair range. The rust is the worst part and unfortunately is just going to get worse. Costly to repair. Probably only worth 800 to you and 2500 to current owner so meeting in the middle you kinda both win He gets an ok price and your getting a decent, something to restore in the future kinda deal.
