Hi, we`re good here on finally a warm day here and a long weekend coming up, hopefully the rain stays away.

 

Morning everyone!!!
Sorry haven't chimmed on lately. Been crazy busy putting in long days to get 3 jobs done. Bit of a pause as I'm waiting on a sparky to get his butt in gear to run my electrical. On a good note, my plan was to finish the basement over the long weekend to get mud on for next week but with the delay in him getting it done I'm going racing this weekend!! Double header in Zhoda this weekend.
I'm stoked to get back on the saddle. Nothing like being outa shape, rode maybe twice in last year and a half and stage on the starting gate for a double header!!! Maybe i'll do good in the vet class :P Can't see competing with the current pro guys but hey, all about the fun factor for me!!

Caught up on a few pages here this morning. Good to see everyone doing good, enjoying the snow and cold weather. ALso nice to see quite a few people regularily chimming in!! CLint, JWC3, Chris and Brett.

Trent, glad the inspection worked out and you're busy busy!!

Randy, I've been stuck like that before in that gumbo. All the weight on the front end there's really not much you can do but bounce off the rev limiter or call a buddy to help.

Doing up some paperwork this mornin and heading to a new daycare today. Finally found one taking Cameron every 2nd day and both kids over the summer holidays. I'd like to get the quad ready today but it's ready already Oil, lubed, greased and bathed. Just have to clean the enclosed out and push her in :P

Took the wife, kids, truck, trailer, and tractor a few miles down the road to get some firewood last evening. Had a hoot. On the way back we seen 4 owls. I love wildlife. I've come to learn that Owls either have poor hearing or poor memory. I've introduced myself a number of times, yet when I'm in their presence, they still ask "who"...

On the drive to a clients property. An older woman in a Caravan attempted to switch lanes into my lane. One major problem! My trailer was in that lane. She tore off her drivers side mirror and dented her door. She caught the spot on trailer that holds spare tire. No damage to the trailer.

It's funny, I think of you Ford Fanatics everytime my turbo hits 9PSI and sings it's wonderfull song to me every morning!!


We have an eagle frequenting the area. 1st time in 14 years of living here i've seen one of those. Short story, my neighbor across the road gives dog treat. Dog heads outside, lays down with treat beside him in his sights and SWOOP. Eagle snatches his treat. Now even when the crows come around his hair stands up and he watches them like a hawk.

We're all good in that dept!! 5/8's firegaurd on a 30x30shop on my 1st job back at it. Passed the test Went from off to 14-16 hr days. Got a load of soil, gravel and sand so took the evening off to spread some joy around the yard here!!

Final sand in a bathroom I did in oakbank tomorrow and rest of the day with mumzie. Costco run, some shoppin and home to load the mistress and gear up for a weekend of 50-70'ers Braaaaaap

Still picking through our yard here finding buried treasures... I do not understand why people have such nasty habits... It seems like they tossed garbage wherever they felt like at the time. There is rusty metal everywhere you turn in the bush and non mowed areas of the acreage. I'm trying to get it cleaned up so I can get the grass/weeds under control and presentable. Hoping to get it clean to the point of having a couple cows next year.

Happy Friday mornin'all. Supposed to nice weather for at least till Monday. We won our ball game last night against our associational rival 14 - 4. Shut a lot of critic's mouth's. Gotta get a lot of yard work done this week. Hope to get a weeks worth in 2 day's. That'll work if I can get the boy's to work. Have an excellent long weekend guy's.
