Only one truck left loading in Port Hope. I'll let him know, thanks.
I'm too cheap to pay someone to do something I can do myself. I did it for a living years ago, and I need to refresh myself once and a while. then i realise why I got out of the trade. lol.

Colin/Morris......Enjoy the car show this weekend boys!!

Grant......Hope your feeling better

Gerry........Warm stuff's coming, I think alot of us are "Done" with this winter season. When a Manitoban, N/Western Ontarion and Saskabush folks are fed up you KNOW it was a rough long season.

Randy.......You guys up this weekend or next? or should I say down.....

Sherwin.......Where the heck are ya???
I'll be there in about 4 weeks on the 26th and I'm there till May 10th so I'm sure we can make something work

You think your van is bad under the hood, you should take a look under the hood of a newer diesel truck. Even the new Cummins Ram trucks are becoming a nightmare to work on.

These car shows are a few weeks away and time is dragging while we`re waiting.

Morning everyone. So last night my girlfriend and I got a nice surprise. I was already in bed when my girlfriend comes and wakes me up to tell me that she saw two people getting dropped off at our empty neighbours house and is now hearing banging and crashing in the house. So after we confirm that there are people in there my girlfriend calls the RCMP. The RCMP come over to find out that it is our old neighbours, but they were unsure if they still live their or not because the house was still fully furnished. Now, our housing is supplied through Manitoba Hydro, so it requires you to have job with Manitoba Hydro to live in their corporate housing. Last I heard throught my work, and my girlfriend reading on her facebook, was that she (the female was the one who worked for MB Hydro, the male was a drug dealer) did not have a job anymore because she refused the help that she was offered from MB Hydro. With that being said, refusing help = no job, and no job = no house.... But maybe she changed her mind and got help?? But why get help if she is still with her drug dealing boyfriend? Either way after being gone for probably two months she and her dick head boyfriend are back?? So now my girlfriend and I are not to sure whats going on, but come Monday I'm going to find out if she is still living there and if she still has her job or not. Oh the only good part is that she still has our complaints on her record, so if she does decided to throw a party or be loud all night all I have to do is put in another complaint and she gets the boot...

Or request a new location with complaint to Hydro. Dealers = Bad deals. Bad deals = harm to the innocent bystanders. Gotta be a crappy feeling.

Hi guy's. Thanks Morris, I'm feeling much better. Spent 3hrs at work trying to get that alt out. I have it disconnected, broke 2 screws holing the wiper brace Now i think I will have to Lift or rotate the engine to manouver the alt out. Everything is so tight, I Got Pissed off and said to myself "self go back tomorrow" So that's where I stand for now. I spent 25yrs in the auto trade and never seen such poor engineering. I would have been better off dropping the whole subframe, that way I could have changed the spark plugs also. My buddy with the car lift is out of town, not that ahoist would of helped. I just don'r know. It will get done, then I'll fix the other little problems, and hpe to trade it off. The only thing is, they're a dime a dozen, and not worth anything, so I may just have to suck it up and keep fixin it. The Kid's are really accelerating in thier sport's ans school endevor's, and I don't want to take away from that. My venting is over, thanks.

Thanks guys, my parade sure got pooped on when they came back. As long as they are quiet and leave us alone, I really don't care if they are back. I just don't want my tires slashed because we shut down their party.

Grant, best of luck with your pos van. I might be swapping all the fluids on my truck sometime this weekend but we will see how things go .

Good night everyone!

Good to hear that you`re gaining, while my cold isn`t real bad some days it feels like I`m at a stand still.
Bobcat among others is great at designing their machinery the same way, a little more thought and it would so much easier to work. I think every engineer should have to be a tech for at least 3 yrs and so they would design vehicles properly for ease of repairs and maintenance!
