Grant, very sorry to hear of this. I'm glad Dawn was ok through this.
I told the wife last night either stay home today or if you really need to go, IM TAKIN YA!!
She's a dedicated, hard workin lady and I would not be where I am today without her.
Like Sherm said, some extra hugs never hurt.
Heading out shortly here, while I was out shoveling the deck I did hear the plow go down 44 so should be decent minus the winds.
If there was a day to say drive safe, today's the day.

Happy Thursday mornin all. Thank's for all the support folk's. Dawn is very sore on her left side, but in good spirits. Now we have to go thru all the BS with insurance, and getting another vehicle. Our insurance company (gov't) said the police do not get involved in fender benders anymore. They will only attend if someone is severely injured. As for the other party leaving, as of 11am they had not made a claim. We will be going to get a rent a car after lunch, and retrieve her belonging's from the impound yard. It's going to be hard to replace her Explorer. It was a full load Eddy Bauer, 2006 162,000km and in exceptional condition. Have a great day fol's, and thanks again for the support.

FYI Grant, when 2 dear wrote off my 2000Windstar I watched Kijiji and printed ads in the ballpark I wanted for it. Once the vehicles on the add were sold and the ads gone, I still had the printouts with dates on them for autopac. I got what I wanted for it without much trouble. The printouts may or may not have helped, I did bring them up to my adjuster, so look on the bright side. It's an exceptional SUV and i'm sure MPIC will see it that way too. Either way, mumzie's still around to give ya crap everytime you spend money on a new toy, this time it'll be for her (and you if you play it right...lol)

Thanks again guy's. Curtis, MPI was very nice to Dawn today. They gave us a claim # and all is well. She rented a Dodge (bad word) Journey. Budget did not have any ford SUV's. The sad thing is, she likes it. We went to the impound yard to clean out the Explorer, man what a mess. If Jordan would have been in the truck
