No topic thread,,, Part 2
A nasty surprise for me this morning, both my F150`s left tires were totally flat and I`m thinking it`s just from the cold. Luckily I always park in my shop so it was fairly close to an air compressor, from these leaks I need to add air in less than an hour. The tire shop was backed up all day so Monday I hope they can get me in.
Randy- Hopefully the landlord is more mature than your present neighbours and he straightens them out.
Grant - congrats on the Edge!
Gerry - it`s great to hear your local RCMP have Super Dutys like around here but there is the odd cheby.

Steve- Good evening to you too. Long pants, heavy shirts with long sleeves and many layers to keep warm these days.
It`s really weird how my 98 Ranger, with factory aluminum mags hasn't ever had any cold tires problems since I bought it in 2001.
Good Sunday morning prairie gang, have a good day

Randy, that sucks bro!! MIL has a problem like yours. She's 87, going through CCare, stuggling as it is and these guys just don't care. Absolutely no respect. Duplex as well. He works at BP in Selkirk, I may pay him a visit there if it continues!!
Morris, if there alum rims, you will most likely have to get them pulled off and the beads cleaned. 99% of the time in this weather it's water that gets in the bead, freezes, then as the cycle continues it quickly gets worse. I've never had it on my Ranger either with alum rims but buddies with the F150 have.
SHERMIN....... GRANT....

Speaking of RCMP SD's, I saw one wipe out last winter on main. New stretch by St.Andrews golf coarse of concrete, usually asphalt used these days, but this was all new concrete. I usually take that route in/out of the city and KNOW its waaaay slipperier at anytime of the day or night. It's like it's polished there or something. Anyway, there was a head on further south, he was FLYIN coming up behind me, 8am ish with school busses out and I said to myself as I easily drifted over to the shoulder maintaining speed...."ohhhhhh he's gonna loose it, oooooohhhhhh boy, he's gonna loose it here guaranteed" and sure enough as I said the last word and the road started to curve to the left he started into the looooooooooooong sideways skid. I'll bet he slid for 200+ feet on the road, then wiped out over the meadian sending him into a heavy spin, across the oncoming 2 lanes and 50feet into the ditch. His mirror was busted off from missing a pole and another 5feet and he would have busted through the creek's protective gates and fell down another 10' into the creek bottom. THe ditches at the time were pretty full of snow. I'm not no traffic analysis guru and played in the snow many times in my time. For him to slide that far on the road, then in the ditch that far, he was movin. Anyways, I didn't end up pulling over as the road ahead had the head on accident and the lights and sirens were all over the place so I thought it would be safer to just carry on.
Story of the day :P
-33 with no windchill this morning here, going to stay like this all day and -6 by morning!! Be a nice warm break but the roads will get sloppy.
Curtis - That's too bad about your MIL, I know how see feels lol.
Grant - Post up some pics of the Edge!
Oh and its -38 this morning here without the wind!

Morris, I've bought quite a few vehicles from Royal Ford, influenced a few sales for them also. They've always been top notch to deal with. I've visited other dealers, other brands from time to time, and never get the same vibe. Royal Ford has great personalities right from the janitor to the owner.

Read about your duplex experiences. We recently moved to an acreage after a year of living in the city. I can't handle city life. Impossible to avoid human interaction outside the house. We lived in a nice neighborhood, but having 8' between neighbors got old in a hurry. I've never had a vehicle damaged by another person on purpose. I fear what my actions would be in such a case. If we go somewhere that requires we leave a vehicle in public overnight, I try to take our least expensive/least valuable vehicle. It sucks to live in a society where there are people who have no respect and regard for others belongings. No regard for others personal privacy etc...
For a change...lol. I won't be touching the DPF unless I have issues that cannot be resolved. I like the idea of having full warranty, that's why I buy new stuff lol....
