Hello all. I have been reading this board for a bit and just acquired my first Ford truck! 1979 F-350 Super cab 4X4 with a 400. The previous owner put an Edelbrock 1406 on it. So far the only thing I've done is put a new circuit board on the dash, a new fuel pump and now it's at the shop getting a new driver's side floor pan. It runs a bit rough so I plan to work on the ignition timing and perhaps get some new points. I'm no mechanic, but I plan to learn. Many thanks for everyone's posts thus far.
Hello everyone, I'm new to this and just wanted to say the trucks look great. I just bought a 1978 Ford F-250 Supercab. IT is blue has the 400 with the 4 speed trans. Ill post a picture as soon as I learn how to. I'm having problem finding interior parts where is a good place to find part for these truck?
Solid looking tuck Anthony. Of course I'm a bit partial to 4x4 supercabs...........
And welcome to FTE. Check out the technical info sticky. Post 9 is the most up to date list and has all kinds of great information, including vendors for our trucks.
If anyone can help finding a ground for the front running light and anybody knows what size plugs go in the EGR ports on the drivers side manifold that would be awesome!! Thanks
