very cool, looks exactly like mine minus the marker lights & mirrors. just curious, mine appears to be entirely stock but the intake manifold is marked C7AE-9425-E, even though the VIN says it came with a 2bbl. What's on yours?
enjoy!
Hey,sorry for taking so long. My intake is D5TE casting iirc. It has a heat crossover on the pass side that comes up under the carb spacer.
My father-in-law's 76 F250 Camper Trailer Special with the 460 that we're thinking about taking on.
It'd need a fair bit of work, but we're thinking about making it our family tow vehicle for a travel trailer of some sort. They used to use it to tow a pontoon boat from just north of SLC down to Lake Powell multiple times a year..
Heck, even at 7mpg, it'd still be cheaper to tow down a boat than to rent one on Powell!

ha..
Good looking truck with the camper shell.
Amazing how there is rust on the wheel well, but not the drip rails.
Well getting closer to coil install , the modified sway bar brackets have been welded up and painted and installed, all that's left now, then I find out that we need to have a 1 inch longer main bolt for everything to sandwich through and have enough thread left over to do it safely. Found one place here in California it's up in Redding that I will order them from tomorrow morning, hopefully they'll be here in the next couple of days everything else is back on the East Coast and would take too long.
Modified Swaybar brackets mounted. Need to order the 1" longer main bolt to accomodate the lift cup and have plenty of thread to engage safely.
Just got her home from Washington state to Michigan.
45k now on the dial. She wasn't babied so she has her character, but NO rust like my old parts truck.
Ok Fellas, I need som e help. I need to get a side mount tank for my 1979 F350 4x4 and can't seem to find anybody that sells them. The original one was trashed so I cannot measure or take a photo of it. I asked LMC as they had one listed for a regular cab and a crew cab which were the same part number but nothing for a super cab. Can anybody confirm that tese tanks also fit the supercab and where is the best place to get a new one. I live in Australia so no one down here stock them but i can get it shipped to MN. I have been doing a complete resto on this for some years now but I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for your help.
