The differential is on the wrong side. Maybe it's a Marmon-Herrington conversion, like this one: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...1979-f350.html ? Or did the owner convert it to 4WD himself?

Ah! That's a possibility. The "first generation" Cummins-powered '89-93 Dodges have the differential on the passenger's side. My "2nd gen" '97 has the differential on the driver's side.

I found this one in Baker City, OR. It spent most of its life outside of Boise, ID. It was a bit of a drive but well worth it! It started out as a 2WD but has been converted to 4WD. The truck came with another running C6 and NP203 to complete the conversion. I'm probably going to put in a manual trans instead though.Fun project!

Got a little gingerbread added to my supercab.

New 35" mud terrains on new MT Classic III's.
Polished side steps.
Ford mudflaps
Drop pitman arm
All new steering rods
Extended rear sway bar end links
Added a Ford 12,500 class IV hitch from newer SD
New take-off Rear bumper from mid 90's F-series

Still left to do:

Rebuild front axle from axle u-joints to the hubs and then set the toe.
fix leak on c-6...I really hate automatics in these old trucks.

Thanks.

For sure never done....i have a 472 in the garage that may find a home in that engine bay.

wheels are 17x9 and the backspacing is either 5 or 5.5"...

I had them on another truck (classic II version) and they fit perfect with a 12.5" wide tire and D44 front.

The track width of the 60 front in this supercab puts them out about an inch more than perfect...but it will have to do.

Here is one I sold a month ago to a buddy of mine.....this truck was a nightmare and I should have never bought it...I spent a ton of time correcting things as I came across them. I got the truck about 95% of the way there...he will have to finish the last 5% to make it pretty decent.

This truck has 3" body lift and 3" susp lift and new 35" A/T's on 16x8 ION wheels.
