Ok here's my thoughts i will take apart the OEM auto Locking hub clean them with commercial part cleaner. Re-pack them and give it try as x-mas time around the corner
*on the other hand am really curious .when the truck up in the air & set the hubs to lock all turns good but when i droop it to the grond i get No 4x4 action ? Is it because the one locking hub in question might be failing ?
* But if it is failing how could it be functioning 100% like it suppose to when i use the auto selector inside the cab?
* Last one when the truck set to auto lock is the front axel suppose to be in a stationary or in rotation motion with the weel spining ?

I'm not sure I completely understand the first part of your question, when you have the hubs in the lock setting the selector inside the truck needs to be in either 4 H of 4 L for it to be in 4X4. and when your hubs are set to auto and you are in 2 wheel nothing up front is turning except the tires, no axles
I pay a little more for Warn for a quality American made part. And peace of mind.
MM sells nothing but Chinese made junk.IMO
They are made in China? Thought they were USA the way people talked, thanks for the info. Wife will be happy she's on the buy american thing(I agree) so points there on me getting the Warns. Durning the summer I was doing a BBQ and part of the meal is a sauteed brussel sprouts with a cream shallot sauce, the brussel sprouts that I was going to buy were from Chile, had to stop at a different market on the way home for the USA sprouts
Mile Marker operates from its headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida, its primary distribution center in Kalama, Washington and from its plant in China.

SO even when you go outside and set the hubs to lock you still got to set the selector switch from the inside ?
The way i understand it ....The reason you got the lock on them hubs is to go out side and lock them in the event the auto fail which from inside the truck . What you say in is i still got to use the switch even when bypassing the auto function . Correct me if am wrong ... As this truck is new to me and am learning as i go
Whew, all this and it was user error? I hope not. Read the owners manual. You still have to turn the switch. That is what engauges the transfer case. The reason the hubs are able to manually lock is if the HUBS dont lock by means of the vaccum system.

I sure did read the manual but it was not clear on that part that I still got to flip the switch from the inside or at least to me... I was under the impression that by setting the Hubs to lock from outside i don't have to turn the switch.
Regardless i found that the right locking hub internal plastic retained inside the cup itself is cracked that's why it wasn't releasing , I took the left locking hub apart serviced it , greased it and waiting for replacement to the R side <O</O

You still have to flip the switch to engage the T -case. Many people just leave them locked in the winter to make them easier to lock up by the switch and it doesn;t hurt anything. There should be lots of stock units around, cheap.
