You have a f250 or f350 with 7.5 and a eec-iv and manual trans and this is your part number for the computer:
(this wasnt yours but its the same part number.)

we have a thread for finding updated calibrations/new computers, you should post in that thread to get help because there may be compatible computers that are cheaper
Yeah. I did some searching for the exact model and also compatible models. Oreillys and Autozone have a reman in their catalog at 140 but its special order and corporate can't get ahold of one. I think napa had one for 250 which is absurd to me. Any junkyard within 50 miles of me either didnt have anything older than 95 or 2000, or if they did they wouldnt sell me one for less than 200. To me thats absurd. The parts stores had ones for an e40d or a 351 or some other configuration, and the 460 e40d ones were only 100 which blows my mind. Rockauto or the other websites dont have em in stock either, or they'll sell a new one for 350 or something. Ebay has them for about 200-250 used. I cant warrant spending 200 on a used computer thats also 30+ years old and run into the same issue 3 months later. Hell marketplace doesn't have any parts trucks with the right setup within 100 miles either

Mine was a 91 and i found out don't have your finger near the plug wires when you are cranking it especially if you are leaning against the vehicle. it will shrink you up real quick.

i had held a plug wire while engine running once, with one hand, and leaning over the engine bay with my other hand on the core support.

When i found the wire with poor insulation , I had to hobble to the driver seat and lay on the wheel for like 10 minutes to catch back up to the living
