Hello all, Anyone have a source for an inexpensive #10 one wire push on style connector? WPT616 3U2Z-14S411-NSA. These things must be made of gold, prices are $70-$116 from various online suppliers; while the #8 one wire connector is only $2.40 WPT476 on Rock Auto.
Thanks.
The junkyard is where to find BIG good wiring
A 10 gauge, 1 wire push on connector, will be few and far between but findable
Old 80's GM trucks is where to find good wire, Cadillacs etc.
Thanks for the LMR link, however that is the #8 sized connector which measures little larger than 5/32", the number #10 measures little larger than 3/16"...so if you ever need the #8, Rock Auto is only $2.40

I couldn't find a cheaper aftermarket version. You also use a ring terminal.

spark plug wire terminals and the respective metal clasp i think would probably be close, but the receiving end would have to be a nub like on HEI towers or plug or a recessed hole like on old points caps or the coil on GM TBI coils, or the center of the cap on some others
R&R Ford, which ring terminal? I've tried #10 -24 & #10 - 32n neither work. I'm connecting to a T5 Reverse lamp switch....doing a Ford drive train swap into a Mazda RX8. For around 40 bucks I can get the actual two prong connector for the reverse light switch but again just trying other option in effort to save a few dollars.
AuroraGirl thanks for posting the pictures, best I can tell those two connectors WPT476 and WPT616 are the same except one is #8 (approx) and the other #10 (approx) and for some unknown reason the pricing is massively different.
Hitman X I believe some starter solenoids do use the #10 WPT616 connector.

Appreciate everyone's input.
Also looking up, I found 20 dollar "2 post" connector for a T5 with a quick search fopr pigtail. lots of switches are threaded posts like the starter relays, could use nuts/lockwashers and then liquid electrical tape
