Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Seem stuck at 35.8°, down from 36 about 45 minutes ago. Overcast but no precipitation at the moment. Wx guessers are saying mixed snow & rain until 1100 and then snow all week thru Thursday. Doesn't make a lot of sense as they are saying the temps will be mid 30's to upper 40's during that time frame. Time will tell I guess. It's 34 on the pass above us with no new snow and they are reporting only 1" of roadside snow. Seems very strange for Jan. 4th.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 30°, snowing pretty hard and steady. Since I let the dogs out and took these pics just over an hour ago, the snow fall has increased. It keeps up at the current rate and we'll be in a 100' or less visibility situation before long. We're at about 200', being generous, right now.
29.5 at the summit. Started snowing again about 2330 and hasn't stopped since. Going to have to get going with the plowing before too long.
We were going to head down to Alpha this afternoon. We'll see what the weather looks like. May wait until tomorrow morning now.

I think something is broken far greater than the Kahlua slushie can take credit for.
NWS has changed their forecast now. High of 39 today, and up to 40 between now and Thursday with the lows running in the 20's with 17 on Thursday. NO PRECIPITATION for today thru Thursday! Just "mostly overcast". They are warped and need to look out the window! They have issued a Hazardous Winter Weather warning for today through noon now to go along with their 'mostly overcast' with not precip prediction!
Morning all. Finally will be home for a while. Need to disassemble Christmas in the house and get working on some chores. Also need to get into some sort of routine to get some exercise in. Sitting around being lazy with the pack is taking it's toll although I do appreciate the down time after working for the last 40 some years. CT scan on Wednesday morning to see what the last 3 months have chemo have done. Good times.
