Well we decided to gift our 2018 f350 PSD to our 20yr old living in LaGrande going to college, so I got to truck shop 😁 I decided to go with a dually this time. I found this 2024 with 30k. Couldn’t pass the deal even though I was looking at new. My first lariat, always a XLT guy. Must say the wife loves heated seats.

Our 2011 Lariat King Ranch 350 DRW has the heated seat. I've been thinking about going for an upgrade. Get out of the 14-15 mpg empty range and getting more into the 18-19 mpg range. My wife is still looking at me funny every time I bring it up, so I may be waiting a bit. On the plus side, our F350 only has 158,000 and is running strong.

my 2018 with 3:73 got 15mpg, my 2024 with 4:10 gets 13mpg.
Morning all. Nice looking rig. Once you go dually it's hard to go back to a single. They are a PITA in the woods if you drive those sort of roads but that's the only downside imo. Nice buckstop on the front.

With the weather being what it is, I guess I will stay inside by the fire and work on taxes today. About 90% done with Fed, 0% with State. Should go pretty quickly now.

Got to waste a couple hours of my life on the phone with a person who could barely speak English today. We got a bill from Willamette Radiology saying the Insurance company rejected or denied the claim and we owed.....
Well, neither Medicare nor the UHC Supplemental has received a claim and new nothing about it. So, trying to get the "English is a 2nd or 3rd language" person to understand and getting past the torrent of incessantly repeated "Um, I see sir" was a bit of a challenge. He tried to tell me they had received no billing information but retreated when I pointed out they must have gotten some because they sent us a bill. Then he was saying they had no insurance information on file for the Warden. Big mistake as I was ready for that with several previous claim billing dates and claim numbers.
Finally got him convinced to bill the insurance and after they had, bill us for any remainder.
Heading to the post office now before the next rain storm hits. 2 Packages that weren't supposed to be here until tomorrow, got here today. We must have lost our Amazon and UPS delivery out here at Bravo now. Everything seems to be getting switched to USPS in Tualatin.
