Two years ago our supplemental insurance through my work or the next people in line or the insurance company themselves, failed to get there records correct and we went all year with highest deductible insurance they had but paid for the lowest deductible. We fought it all year long, luckily we didn't need to use it.
@River Wild Rich, How did your son in law do at the reining thing? Any hit's on the jeep yet?
No hits on the heep. It's at a local (salem) dealership on consignment. They deal in specialty cars and trucks so hoping they can move it soon. I just don' t thick the hybrid sells well here in the PNW. We'll see I guess.
Was down in the Rec Blg. installing a couple of security camera's yesterday and a sage rat emerged from his new hole just in front of the deck steps towards the river. Perfect spot for a person to step off the steps, into a hole and break an ankle. After a little hide n seek, he got hit with a .45 ACP 185 grain hydrashock. Overkill the 100th degree, but other than some .308 Hornady SST's that's all I had at the Rec blg. Took the shovel and put what few pieces I could find back down the hole and filled it in.
I'm sure there are more of them down in the hole, there usually is, but as of this morning the hole is still covered and no new ones have opened up. It's a tad early for the sage rats here, so it's probably the mild winter that sent one out early. And, I now have some .22 LR and .22 mag rounds down at the rec blg.

The McMinnville Hospital has been absolutely notorious in their billing practices - at least for us. And I've heard a lot of complaints from other people. We only use them for tests like lab draws and Radiology anymore. There have been a litany of problems. We absolutely refuse to use them for 'in patient' care.
We have quite a few problems with them not billing insurance or incorrect billing and continuous problems with them failing to provide chart notes or documentation to the insurance when the insurance requests it. This last visit, the billing to Medicare was made by the hospital, but not by the radiology interpretation people. The Supplemental Insurance hasn't heard a thing from either of them. The Warden has had the same AARP UHC Supplemental Insurance now for at least 5 years. The insurance has been really good. After the annual Medicare deductible, we've had no out of pocket expenses for the Warden.
We're starting the process of getting the Warden's medical all transferred over to St. Charles out of Bend. St. Charles has a Medical Center in La Pine that has PCP's as well as Cardiologists and Pulmonologist. To steal a phrase, One stop Shopping.
Currently we have to go to McMinnville for Heart Doctor (retired), Newberg for Pulmonologist and Salem for another Specialist. Seems like a good time to make a change and get her switched into a more solid/stable medical treatment world. Her PCP has closed up shop and moved to Roseburg, her heart Doctor has retired and we fired her pulmonologist after misdiagnosis that ended up putting her in OHSU hospital in Portland for a month, ICU for 8 of those days. We replaced him with a Doctor from Providence out of Newberg, but all of her appointments with her have been video telemed, no hands on in person, and going to the hospital for one test or another.

What a charlie foxtrot to get tickets but we managed some. Out of 5 people trying only one was able to get the limit of 6 and wife got 1. We needed 8 min but we'll figure it out. VRBO is already reserved for the week.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 27 and still snowing. Sun shining right now, but wind is blowing in snow from somewhere. Wind is ringing the wind chimes and the squirrel feeder on the tree, just filled yesterday, apparently is too exposed to keep the squirrels happy this morning. They are sharing the bird feeder with the birds.
We have to head to Sheridan this afternoon. Warden has an appt. at the cardiologist tomorrow morning. We were going to spend the week, but with the contractors getting on board, we are going to have to come back here right after her appt. Then we'll have to go back next Monday for my VA visit.
Wind blowing the snow in under the porch roof to the front door.
