Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. We are now up to 47.3. Had some scattered overcast earlier, but the clouds have moved on for now and it's clear blue sky.

Got the tailgate off the 450 last night. Going to wash, wax and vacuum here in a bit and then mount the camper on the pickup.

Afternoon all.

Jim - wouldn’t it be cheaper to just get the 3” hitch instead of a new hitch. How long do you need? I’ve got a new 28” 3”. That I don’t need. Well this trip has taken a turn. I started having issues with my left leg early last week thinking maybe a pinched nerve with all of the driving I’ve been doing. Ended up at the ER in Ardmore Saturday. They did a CT scan and MRI in less than 3 hours.

Nope, no pinched nerve, brain mass instead. ER visits for me are bad news. They ended up life flighting me to OKC. So here we sit. Waiting to talk to a neuro/brain doc on next steps. Talk is likely surgery since it’s only one mass. If it were multiple masses no surgery. So that is good news… I suppose. Won’t know until tomorrow when surgery may be. Could be here for a few weeks. I’m not medically stable so can’t go anywhere or go home unless it’s medical transport. The mass is messing up my left leg which is only about 20% so pretty much useless. Doubt insurance will foot that bill for a private jet ride. Not that i wouldn’t mind being home. After surgery there is 2 weeks of PT.

I guess this is a good way too test drive how the Oklahoma healthcare system is. So far so good I’d say. Guess we’ll see once surgery is done. Lol.

Been one hell of a 10 months.

Dang Rich. Praying the surgery goes well and you have a full recovery.

I have a 48” 2-1/2. I’ve had mods done to it that exceeds the specs for the TorkLift Cannon. Instead of chains it uses 2 5000lb turnbuckles. I have a reducer now that has a collar that locks the bar in tight. Only need it when the camper is on. The 3”
Thanks, the 24” long 3” would be fantastic but it’s too short at 24” with the camper on and too long with no camper.

Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers!

Thanks everone. Well sone good news yesterday. Doc actually came in to talk to us yesterday late afternoon. Was his day off. He’s talking radiation since the mass is 1.6 cm. One 2-3 hour session and done. Says since it’s small success is usually good. Probably some PT but timeline still unknown at this point.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 28.1 and clear. The Wardens flowers beds are really not going to like that temp.

I have also discovered that the 4' frost free spigot in the lower yard has a break. Water is bubbling up around the pipe. I guess I'll be digging that up Thursday when I get back from a meeting and a doctor's appointment. At least the ground should be wet and hopefully easy to dig.

Sounds like making it go away without cutting is good news Rich. Here's hoping it all goes your way!!!

Good evening all.

Got kicked out of the hospital this afternoon. We are living at the Marriott across the road. Friday they will zap the tumor. Will hang around here and head home Tuesday the 9 th. Only a week late.

Aslo looks like with all of tthe immunotherapy and now the roids I’m taking I’m a diabetic. Good times.

beats the alternative I suppose.
