Diablo Chip Report
Hmm, you have the EXACT same truck as I do...same code and everything. I can't vouch for superchips but my Diablo is great.
I got some coutips, dipped them in rubbing alcohol, and wiped them on the contacts. (I didn't wipe a ton, just enought to get them damp) Then I got the other end of the coutip and dried them back off after scrubbing a little. Also, make sure you cleaned both sides from top to bottom on the connectors. It took me 3 times before it even started.
Other than that, talk to Ken in the computer chips forums.

Greetings,
I reciently tried installing a Superchip on my 2003/4.2/Manual Gearbox/ Code VLW2. After installation, my truck ran rough, and would not go any higher than 3500 rpm. I contacted Superchip, sent the chip back, they in turn sent me a new chip, which does the same thing. I have cleaned the contacts several times, and looked at them thru a magnify glass. Any comments, and does anyone know of anything that can be put on the contacts to make them conduct better?

MY parking brake is sticking, may just be the 20 degee weather, it is not used to the cold, but i have to put a little effort to get it to the first click, and I am not getting full pressure out of my drivers side vent with teh heat, I am getting about 3 or 4 ties the pressure out of the middle vents have not checked the far passenger one, but I do not remember this problem last year, when it only had 20k miles on it.
I dont know, changing the cable has been recomended. I know now that it is sticking or at least rubbing at ALL times...feels alost like a low tire when I start off or do a turn, and when I let of the gas I can feel the truck draggin alittle, almost like hung brakes, but not serious enough to be the actual brakes, and the brakes are not hot enough after a drive for it to actually be the rear discs draggin up.
