1 : a personal religious teacher and spiritual guide in Hinduism
Alfred and Joe, I did not realize that you guys were Hindu's that like to post. Hmmfff
Yeah, comes with the religion. a free computer!! Then we learn all about these Fords, and at 2500 post we suddenly decide that Hindu sucks so we become Gun Toting Postal Workers (i.e. Postmaster)
Oh really? I haven't seen that one yet. I'm not a postmaster, per say, but I do tote a gun.......ooops, shame on me, I meant to say "Side arm, or pistol, or weapon" for you military boys who get to do pushups everytime they call their weapon a "Gun".
That ain;t me, it is a gun, only in Correctional Custody was it reffered to at all times as a weapon, and the only time I see a gov't gun is the SPs at the gate, I do not shoot them in the military.....they do not let us play with weapons...
But how are you oing to know your actual numbers? If I say put nitrous or a S/C on my truck I would pay the extra 75 to note how much power I was able to put into it, as for my stang, that thing will see a dyno after every upgrade and probably once a year to check on engine wear.
Wew!! I can't even count how many times I've taken 75.00 and threw it into the sewer drain. Geez, I mean just about every single time I go out at night, it costs me at least 75 bucks. All I would need to do is to just NOT go out for ONE night, and that's the 75.00 right there. I spend that in one week in gas alone for my truck.
I get all my bikes dyno'd and love it, because they give you this really nice colorful print out graph of the torque and horsepower. And, if it's something you can be proud of because of the mods you made, you could even frame it and hang it in your garage. That's what I do, with my bikes anyway.
But you can do more with the graphs. Sending Ken an A/F graph can allow him to make a chip much more aggressive. Like the other guys stated, if you ever plan on going with any kind of induction or NOS, dynos are extremely important. No offense to Ken, but IF I could afford a dyno tuned chip, I would be all over it in a heartbeat. That is where you can get every last drop of HP out of an engine.
Tom, only 75 a night? You cutting back or something? Haha. I usually spend like 30 though...but I dont usually buy a bunch of drinks, people usually buy them for me.
Anyhow, Joe, a dyno is not a bad investment at all. Not ever, especially when you are done, kinda like Tom is, building it up
I still would never put down 75 buck to see my numbers. Maybe if I bought a SC or something, then I'd pay the extra dough to see results, but not for a chip. You guys must be rich and not married or something. Pay your own rent, 2 new vehicle notes, and all your utilities such as gas, food, etc. while being married, and then tell me it's easy to go dyno your truck for $75. Also, make sure your wife is going full time to college! Maybe that puts you a little more in my shoes. Remember, I'm a married 21 year old guy who lives in a (basically) small town.
