Good Evening NorCal!

Took the Bronco out yesterday and worked all of the systems. I need to bolt down the build up in the back because it was bouncing on some of the roads we went on. Had to take advantage of the good weather before the next storm comes in mid week.

Jim, here is keeping our fingers crossed for a positive transportation outcome for you.

I want a Pride Mobility Pursuit 2. But I doubt the VA will go for it. as it is $3,600 instead of $2,300 for the one I have. When talking to the director of prosthetics, he told me they don't buy the Victory LX sport anymore which is what I have. They buy from a company called Golden. And the only 4-wheel scooter they have is slower than mine. 5.5 mph instead of 8.6 mph. The pursuit 2 does 9.3 mph. All these with a 200 lb rider. The loaner also only does 5.5 mph, and it is noticeable. I went to BK this morning before church, and it seemed to take twice as long to get there. So, a part of me wants to keep the scooter I have, but another part of me wants a scooter that will be reliable. The repair guy called today and told me he couldn't get the parts separated because the connectors were melted together. He is going to order the parts, and a new controller and recommend the VA buy a new scooter as this problem surfaced 3-4 months ago. So, maybe I'll get a new one, maybe not.
Have not tried to drive the truck in over a week so I will go out tomorrow and see if it will start.

I would much rather have a "no break down" chip for the Ford!

I wish. And I am sure every other Ford owner out there would want one too. Would be a big seller.

A lot of prep work. I usually don't take the time to do it. Beef stew. One of my favorites.

No pics, but BBQ'd some rib eyes that were grown on the ranch by my house last night. They were excellent.

I just saw an Amazon delivery in a Tesla. POTUS just bought a Tesla. Jim, see if The VA can replace your scooter with a Tesla. Maybe they can build a charger in your carport.

Maybe I'll get lucky, and EGO will start making mobility scooters. Of course they would need bigger batteries. The ones in my scooter are a little larger than motorcycle batteries. Yesterday I went out to the truck and tried to start it from outside the cab, just reaching in with the key. It started right up. It picks and chooses when it will start, I guess. I want to take it to church tonight, but it is going to rain, and the loaner doesn't have the fitting needed for the lift to attach to. So, since it will be raining all day tomorrow, I will just take it to the noon Bible study and leave the scooter at home. I want to have the rain wash off all the dirt and dust it has accumulated over the past several weeks.

There was a power outage in my neighborhood. Lasted about an hour. That undid all of my daylight savings time changes.

We have exactly one clock in our house that needs to be changed. We had to leave Sunday morning, so that puppy is still running on standard time (it's got a battery). Will have to remember to change it when we return later today.
