I did go for lariat ultimate so probably close but not same truck. LOL
There were features I didn't want with platinum trim which forced me to build out a crazy, and probably more expensive, lariat build. Hard no on 2kw power and sunroof which I believe is standard on Platinum? I wouldn't use these and trying to save weight for pulling fifth toy hauler. Will be doing air bags to help level things out but not sure until I hook it up.
Agree....rapid heat should come standard on a diesel!
With the base Platinum (I can't believe this is a thing), you still get to select the moon roof and 2kw power, so like you, I optioned my Platinum without these two things, for the same reason.
With the Platinum Plus, those two things, along with a list of other things, are standard equipment.

Well hey, mine is also saying 'in production' now. Though no date yet. Here's hoping!
Edit: Welp. Have a window sticker now. Unfortunately moved to week of 5/19. So that would be 3 months from order date. :shrugs: is what it is...I'm not in a rush for it anyway.
Boy, could not agree with Yoda more. I am at 5.5 mos with a scheduled date “week of 3/31” which means it could move. Not as bad as others I have seen in these threads, but worst ordering experience ever.
My truck arrived at the dealership on the 20th but still had to wait for flatbed to be installed yesterday.
Today, we took delivery 😎
My status screen, which hasn't been updated since the 20th, still shows shipped but not delivered.
Well, truck just showed up as in production after previously showing “the week of 3/31”earlier today. The VIN is still not showing which makes me suspicious as I thought it did once it was in production. Anyway, now it is the final leg of the waiting game. Any tips on what to watch for are welcome.

A truck. Watch for a truck. Probably an F250 or bigger.
seriously though I haven’t read about any real common themes other than slight paint issues.

Depending on when you ordered (it's been a minute since I read the entire thread, so I can't recall), you may still be far from the end of the waiting game. I ordered mine back in February, got a VIN and was showing scheduled for week of 3/31, went to 'in production' for a day. I can now see my window sticker but it has been moved to 'week of 5/19.' Seems common for it to be pushed out a month and a half, then get pulled back ahead to only a week or two later.
I agree with 99powerstrokeF250. Just got my vin and window sticker yesterday, ordered & received confirmation on 1/28 from Ford. Build date is the same as above, week of 5/19. I hope it comes sooner.....
Your responses are what I am worried about. No window sticker yet. A lot of posts about dates moving all over the place and not being solid. My only hope is my order has been in since mid October. It has been the wait from hell, though I know some have seen even worse.

I question if your dealer did something wrong...if you ordered in October your truck should already have been built even WITH commodity delays. There's no reason your rig shouldn't have been released to production by now...

Distinctly possible, smallish dealer. What I was told is it had to do with the fifth wheel prep. For the 2025 build less than 5% with this option went out through January due to problems backed up in 2024 with misfitting components (which I had heard about). This improved to 22% in February when my truck got scheduled. Who knows. It feels like a lot comes down to the Man behind the curtain at “Emerald City”.

I ordered in February and had my window sticker 3/25. Then build has now been bumped to week of 4/21 (better than week of 5/19). And I sprung for 5th wheel prep.
You should have at least gotten a window sticker by now, even IF 5th wheel prep was holding yours up - it has to get released to production before they start trying to allocate parts to it. If you don't have a window sticker then the order is still in processing.
