Inaccurate image that pops up on the tracking or build pages. If you change the angle on the truck it will show the correct grill.
What? You mean the tracker/build site is inaccurate? Lol.
Makes sense, thanks.
Now, I would be curious to know if the pockets of the 2025 Platinum + wheels are black now instead of grey. I know the Tremors are now black, and the regular Platinum went to gloss black from matte black.
And ain't no way they will go backwards on pricing. I would bet the H.O. costs say at the very least the same.
You are fundamentally and 100% correct. It is easier to offer sales and discounts and discontinue that practice later then to lower prices and re raise them later. Raising prices is difficult and gives the impression you’re greedy. They’ve already gone through the work of raising them once. Why do it again?

Well, if it helps that pic should be of a platinum plus. Speaking of which does anyone know a way I can debadge the tailgate?
Still no clarity on whether my truck got built on the original date or not, but it's looking like probably not. Dealer says if it was going to arrive it probably already would have. Now the process is starting all over again.....the Ford website now says that the truck that was scheduled for production next week is "in-production", but it never went to a specific build date, just a "week of", so I'm skeptical that this "in-production" status is real, either.
Reading here it seems that getting a window sticker is an indicator that something real is happening....where do you determine if the window sticker exists or not? If it's a link on the order tracking webpage I'm not seeing it.
Hopefully this time is for real, because I'm canceling if Lucy decides to pull the football again.

Unless it has a date on the 'in production' section is is not physically being built but rather parts being allocated, programming, etc. Even though it is in production it can still get pushed back to a new scheduled week of date. Happened to me and others.
Here is where you can download the window sticker. Simply swap vin with yours at end of URL.
This is the date the sticker is created and/or updated. Mine was originally created on 2/13 and then updated on 3/13 prior to production week of 3/17 after it got pushed.
According to the order tracker my truck was built last week but has yet to ship. I reached out to my dealer this morning and they say vinview shows it in production. I'm hoping not to reach 7 months from order to delivery.
I failed to get pictures of the interior while it was outside, but I am so glad I got the lay flat seats. The extra pillow behind the shoulder blades is glorious. Here's a dark picture I just took.
I am happy to report that the wheels are in fact gloss black now, and both front hubs are the selectable type, not the permanently locked front right hub.
Also, this thing rides like a dream. And I am coming from a 2023 Raptor. I could not be happier.
Well, my 550 was delivered to the dealer today, and we got to have our first look at her fresh off the delivery truck. The Star White looks even better than I remembered especially when in the sun. They will be taking her to have the CM RD flatbed installed, and then we'll take delivery on Wednesday. After that I'll be installing a Thunderstruck Elite front bumper/brush guard.
