Cleats are no longer a thing according to a couple threads here. The re-designed plates is it.
No loss in my book.
I used the cleats , can’t see how you would use the brackets or at least I can’t. Going in tomorrow for dealer installed options and I will ask about it .

OK, but I am not sure what you are going to ask them. The plates are what they are.
Just looked at what on my truck and I see where a rope or hook can be used in them . When I first saw them I thought they were flatter than what they are .
You can purchase the old cleats and mounting brackets, they will bolt right in.
Better off to buy them on online, just watch out for junk ones.
IMHO, I think the cleats were better - there were more options on how to use them, AND the old brackets accepted E-track accessories. The new tie-downs are what they are.
I'll probably be buying the old brackets and some E-track stuff.
Well, my Saturday (3/8) build day apparently was accurate! The tracking website still has not switched to "built", and the window sticker still does not have a blend date, but as of this morning the as-built files are showing up. Phew!

Nice.
I don't believe they show blend dates on the window sticker anymore, or at least I cannot find it even on trucks that are already built. As-built files showing up is a good thing. I didn't have mine even after it was in production for a week before it got pushed back to scheduled and date pushed off.

Point is they are not missing and there is nothing to tell the dealer about. Of course you can buy them (but as you said, only buy from the dealer if your FordPass points are burning a hole in your pocket).
I don't love the old cleats, and I am kind of looking forward to the new panels if my truck is ever built.

Oh, I was unaware blend dates were not a thing anymore. Last vehicle I ordered was my 2020 GT500, and the blend date was still a thing then.
Good luck on yours getting built this time around.

Just got back from dealership and was told you can still order old style. New style plates just unscrew and old style bolts into same screw holes . Was told some of the 2025 early builds still came with old style in a box in the truck. Maybe just using up stock on hand .
Truck is built as of 03/06. Projected delivery next week...
Tuesday the estimated delivery line was completely removed from my order status screen. I checked with my sales manager and he tells me his information shows an estimated delivery now pushed back to next week.
[Edit] Now on Wednesday, the status screen has been updated to show "Shipped" as of 3/11 and the estimated delivery line has returned although it again shows 3/9-3/15.
Great looking truck! They did a great job matching the cap. Miss my two tones, wish they still offered on the Lariat. The colors look excellent together.
