Looks like my F350 Platinum is finally in production. Looks just like fishdude2019's truck from a couple posts up. I ordered on March 1st so just over 7 weeks to get to production. It was scheduled to start production the week of 4/28, so it started a bit early. I was prepared for it to be delayed since I ordered it with some of the items that tend to cause build issues such as 5th wheel prep and sray-in bedliner. Pleasantly surprised.
My "In Production" date changed from 4/24 to 5/1 and then the status changed to "Built" on 5/3. Seems to be pretty much on schedule. Hopefully I'll have it in a few weeks.
oh wow…Sure did lol. My dealer had our orders at a priority 3 so it might move up but who knows. Mines still showing the same 26th as of now. It seems like there’s a lag in their system showing actual real-time data though so who knows what the real deal is. For example, I also have an explorer stline on order for the wife, (same April 12 order date) that still shows nothing besides order confirmed on our end. The sales manager looked it up when I was there 8 days ago closing on a transit van and he said it showed in his side of the system it was scheduled for week of June 6, VIN issue. He couldn’t explain why we’re not seeing the same data. No matter, they’ll get here when they do.
Given the history, don't be surprised if it gets moved out, then brought back up. It may not, and here's hoping it doesn't, but it's entirely possible that it will. Mine and several others did - went "In Production" for a day, then rescheduled the build week and went back to 'scheduled.' Was actually built the week it was brought back forward to.
Speaking of mine, it was just unloaded off the train car an hour ago. It's a 3 or so hour ride from the yard to my dealer, depending on when they load the truck on a hauler. Dealer says they have 3 other SD's in transit with mine, so it'll basically be a dedicated run - no stops at other dealers. In which case it could literally show up any time from this afternoon to next week.

That’s awesome!, I’d be sitting at the dealer in 3 hours watching it be unloaded gritting my teeth. Curious, who’s able to give you the details about railcar, yard, loading etc? I’m assuming your salesman has that info because of the truck being scheduled to deliver to the dealership? I’ve read soemthing about ford marketing being able to give you the details as well but I’ve not pursed that yet
Well, here's my experience now. Ordered mine on 3-12-25. F350 Lariat Tremor. Was built & shipped on 4-14. Man I thought that this was really going great. It was supposed to arrive 5-3 to 5-8. Not to bad. Stripped down my old diesel truck & got it ready to trade. All of a sudden arrival date changes 5-16 to 5-22. Unflipping believable. I got torqued off Sunday morning I went down to the local Ford dealer that is close to where I live. There sits 2 Tremors that probably arrived late Saturday. I go over & open the door & get in one. It was a XL, I check it out a little bit & I noticed the door sticker manufacturing date 4-24-25. Say What????? And here it is sitting on the lot 5-3. And mine is still in limbo transit. And this truck was made 10 days after mine was shipped. I ordered my truck from another dealer that is about a hour away from where I live. Both trucks have the same shipping route, train to Albuquerque & then a car hauler to the Four Corners dealers. Makes me wonder if mine got damaged somehow (there has been a few hail storms around the Albuquerque area where these trucks sit & wait for the next transport), or somewhere along the line. Hope not. Or I will be reordering.
Well, cheers,
Russ

There are a couple tracking apps that the dealer has access to. I have been able to track the exact route of my truck, every switch the train car has gone past.
The monkey wrench is that the car haulers don't always update when they move the trucks from the yard - the rail company submits that it's been received by the car hauler company, but it's up to the car hauler company to mark them as 'in transit.' There are some guys who won't mark them like that because they don't want a flock of people following their truck into the dealer lot and holding them up, then want to get back on the road for more deliveries.

Impressive that yours got turned around so quick, Mine was ordered in early February and just got built 4/23, also an F350 Lariat Tremor - and it just hit the unloading ramp today. You must not have had some options I went for.
I am presuming the truck you sat in was an XLT? Because you can't configure an XL with the Tremor package. Still, That's an impressive turnaround time if it was built 4/24 and got to a lot on 5/3, it had to have gone straight through with just about no stops, I am an 8 hour drive from the factory and it's taken longer than that.

Well, at the local dealership there is a XL F350 with a Tremor package for sale. It is Avalanche in color. 7.3 gas. 430 gear. As all Tremors are specked out. So yes, you can get a Tremor in a XL. It had a price tag of $66,000.
Not bad if you want a great truck with not a lot of options.
Yes, on the truck that I ordered, no I didn't get any extra's. No moonroof, spray in Bed liner, etc.

sorry my guy, but Tremor is not available on XL no matter how much you want it to be.
Mine was delivered to the dealer last night. It is currently sitting outside the service bay, waiting for PDI or whatever they call it, where the dealer inspects it and puts things like the center caps on. I'm expecting a call or text from my salesman shortly after they open at 8. I think I'll reply with the picture I snapped of it.
So with luck, I'll be taking delivery today or tomorrow.
Those of you ordering trucks in March or April and waiting for a pending delivery do not know how fortunate you are. It took mine 6 months to the day to be delivered, and a lot of others waited longer than that. I’d just be happy on the turn around. I know waiting sux, believe me. I even had to wait 3 days to get it from the rail yard to my dealer 40 min. away. But it will get there. Good luck.

Your story was one of the ones that had me questioning just how long it would take to get my truck once it was built. All told it's been about a week and a half, and a lot of that was just waiting on the rail car to get picked up in Kentucky, and then it sat at a switchyard in Ohio for a couple days. Once it hit the unload yard, it was unloaded, put on a truck, and sent to the dealer within 36 hours.
The last time I saw a vehicle ordered was when my dad ordered a new truck in 1994, and I was just a kid. Going through it myself, I've come to learn that there is a LOT that has to go on to get a truck (or any vehicle) built and delivered. Commodity shortages can extend lead times, going by rail can slow things down, and sometimes you're at the mercy of even the final trucking company. It's been an experience, but overall I'd go through it again. It hasn't been too bad, but I think I have overall been unaffected by the commodity issues.

Took delivery yesterday. Was a crappy day, some rain and whatnot. Very happy with this truck. Going to keep it a while.
